Semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing. TornadoLGS (talk) 20:10, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Most of the recent disruptors have been blocked; there's been just one that hasn't and they might not do it again (if they do, we can add this article to their partial block). Daniel Case (talk) 23:31, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
- @TornadoLGS, Balthazarduju, and Daniel Case: There was some vandalism a week ago and the block is correct due to the personal attacks, but this is probably a content dispute at the end of the day because while some of the information in the edits are already in the article, they're currently unsourced and the IP edits are adding those sources. There's probably a better way to address this than just fully reverting everything ... Sdrqaz (talk) 23:54, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
Temporary protection: Edit war amongst three or more registered users. Adakiko (talk) 05:44, 22 February 2025 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Having a problem with BLP violation content being repeatedly added by an IP address over the past week or so. Jtbobwaysf (talk) 23:20, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protected for a period of two weeks, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Daniel Case (talk) 02:39, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- this should be the otherway. the article clearly states that what he spread was false. if what he spread was false then he did spread misinformation about debanking. Jtbobwaysf has made persist changes that ofisgate the reality of it . first they tried to remove the entire reference to the events in question. they changed it to "shared his own experiences of " which also is not what the article says.The article says the information he said on debanking wasnt connected to reality and thats worth being mentioned.
- I can understand why it can be precieved to be a violation of neutral point of view but further evaluation will prove that that not to be the case. Marc Andreeseen went on joe rogan and claimed that the CFPB was involved in and responsible for debanking and under the personal unilateral perview of Senator Elizabeth warren. the CFPB has not be involved in debanking and Senator Elizabeth Warren does have unilateral control of the Consumer Finnance Protection Bureu. his claims are therefor just false. a neutral prespective would point out the flaws in his claims just like any other conspircy theory.
- if you were to say that "spread misinformation about debanking" is a non neutral prespective due to verbage there are other examples of wikiapedia entries in which that verbage is used for living people. take for example Nick Fuentes in his wikiapedia it says "Fuentes has frequently spread conspiracy theories and misinformation surrounding the FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccines" and proves a article from Salon. so its clear that this verbage is neutral by wikipedias standards. so if it stands for the Nick Fuentes wikiapedia what is difference from the Marc Andresen one. both have a repubable source, both state that the claims made were misinformation. the only difference to me seems to be that is Jtbobwaysf has a personal interest in Cryptospace related people and Marc Andreesen is a big proponent of Cyrptospace. which points to the crux of the issue a personal bias by that edtior to scrub the falsehoods of Marc Andreesens claims while keeping the reference to the joe rogan experience so that a curious mind might be inclined to watch it and believe the claims made by Andreesen.
- Thank you for your time and any considerations made after reading this. Jkm11 (talk) 06:47, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- Then this should probably be run via the processes laid out at dispute resolution. Lectonar (talk) 09:50, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- So, in other words, once again I protected the wrong version ... Daniel Case (talk) 02:27, 22 February 2025 (UTC)

I even opened a discussion on the article's talk page for other editors to chime in. Current requests for reduction in protection level
Before posting, first discuss with the protecting admin on their talk page. Post below only if you receive no reply.
- To find out the username of the admin who protected the page, click on "history" at the top of the page, then click on "View logs for this page," which is under the title of the page. The protecting admin is the username in blue before the words "protected", "changed protection level" or "pending changes". If there are a number of entries on the log page, you might find it easier to select "Protection log" or "Pending changes log" from the dropdown menu in the blue box.
- Requests to downgrade full protection to template protection on templates and modules can be directed straight here; you do not need to ask the protecting admin first.
- Requests for removing create protection on redlinked articles are generally assisted by having a draft version of the intended article prepared beforehand.
- If you want to make spelling corrections or add uncontroversial information to a protected page, please add {{Edit fully-protected}} to the article's talk page, along with an explanation of what you want to add to the page. If the talk page is protected, please use the section below.
Check the archives if you cannot find your request. Only recently answered requests are still listed here.
Reason: This page is a very easy SOCK detection page; specifically WP:LTA/A5. All mass blankings have been reverted within a minute, and protection does help keep the page stable, however, there is a very clear SOCK-behavior going on it since August 2024. Current requests for edits to a protected page
Please request an edit directly on the protected page's talk page before posting here
Ideally, requests should be made on the article talk page rather than here.
- Unless the talk page itself is protected, you may instead add the appropriate template among
{{Edit protected}}
,{{Edit template-protected}}
,{{Edit extended-protected}}
, or{{Edit semi-protected}}
to the article's talk page if you would like to make a change rather than requesting it here. Doing so will automatically place the page in the appropriate category for the request to be reviewed. - Where requests are made due to the editor having a conflict of interest (COI; see Wikipedia:Suggestions for COI compliance), the
{{Edit COI}}
template should be used. - Requests to move move-protected pages should be made at Wikipedia:Requested moves, not here.
- If the discussion page and the article are both protected preventing you from making an edit request, this page is the right place to make that request. Please see the top of this page for instructions on how to post requests.
- This page is not for continuing or starting discussions regarding content should both an article and its discussion page be protected. Please make a request only if you have a specific edit you wish to make.

To edit a page, claiming to be non-biased, with opinion over fact is very unprofessional and by definition biased. Calling someone a conspiracy theorist is matter of opinion not fact. Kash Patel is the new director of the FBI no matter your opinion and the label of conspiracy theorist can be seen as defamation in the eyes of the law. Especially with a site such as yours who claim to site facts. In the eyes of the public this label you have put under Kash Patel's name is a matter of opinion not fact. Please do yourself a favor and remove it. Thank you.

I would like to request Autopatrolled permissions. I have experience in creating and editing articles, particularly in Biographies of Living Persons (BLP) and good understand on notability guidelines. I understand the importance of adhering to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, including verifiability, neutrality, and reliable sourcing. I am committed to continuous learning and will ensure that any pages I create meet Wikipedia's standards. I will handle this permission responsibly and always strive to improve my contributions.Thank you for considering my request. Endrabcwizart (talk) 18:47, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Endrabcwizart: One of your creations was recently deleted at AfD for notability concerns, and it seems Binay Shah has been tagged for similar reasons. I also looked through Nitin Chand, and in addition to the overall poor formatting, contains this sentence: "With over a decade of active work, Chand has successfully created more than 150 music videos and commercials, showcasing his expertise in the industry", which violates the neutral point of view policy. At the moment, it seems your work will continue to benefit from review from new pages patrol.If you're looking for resources to help you improve, make sure you're familiar with the content policies, and the Manual of Style would be good to start incorporating as well. It's also important to note that even otherwise reputable news organizations in the Indian subcontinent have a track record of publishing paid promotion disguised as real coverage. These are not reliable and should not be cited. For example, this source in Prakash Subedi (lyricist) is one. The Teahouse has experienced editors who can help you out if you need it, and feel free to reach out on my talk page if you have any questions about my message. I am familiar with key Wikipedia content policies, including vandalism, biographies of living persons (BLP), neutral point of view (NPOV), verifiability, and copyright compliance. I've also been involved in patrolling recent changes, where I use Twinkle tool to revert vandalism. With my experience and understanding of these policies, I believe that I can effectively contribute to reviewing pending changes. 𝐌P⚚𝛂n 𓃠 {✝alk} 20:05, 13 February 2025 (UTC)

I'm well familiar with Wikipedia policies. And in my spare time I am always on duty to combat any vandalism or violation of Wikipedia policies. This right will serve me well. Thanks! Vellutis (talk) 18:48, 16 February 2025 (UTC)

I understand pending change policies well, in addition to my knowledge of general Wikipedia editing policy/procedure. I would like to further contribute in this way. Thanks. Peace, Thorn6130✝ (talk, ask questions, dispute) 00:14, 18 February 2025 (UTC)

I patrol recent changes, mainly for vandalism, but I also get in contact with a lot of pending changes and like to help. I am familiar with the related policies. Squawk7700 (talk) 18:06, 18 February 2025 (UTC)

I am requesting reviewer rights to help improve the quality and accuracy of Wikipedia articles, particularly in areas related to Pakistan and some notable international articles like television shows and international cricket. I also created a page Kana Yaari directly, which is a result of my performances on Wikipedia. I have gained experience through consistent and constructive editing, and I am familiar with Wikipedia's content policies, including neutral point of view, verifiability, and reliable sourcing. I aim to assist in maintaining the integrity of semi-protected pages and contribute to the efficient review of pending changes. Currently I'm a auto confirmed user rights. I routinely edit (especially recently) and have a reasonable editing history for which a track record can be established (see my userpage). I have read WP:VD, WP:BLP, WP:NPOV, WP:OR, WP:V, WP:!, WP:C and the guideline on the reviewing process for RPC. HKLionel (talk) 12:24, 20 February 2025 (UTC)

Hi. I've recently come across several instances where rollbacking would be faster than manually reverting nonconstructive consecutive edits. I don't patrol Recent Changes, but I am quite active and have more than 3,100 pages on my Watchlist. Thanks for your consideration. PRRfan (talk) 04:11, 13 February 2025 (UTC)

I've previously requested rollback twice but I'm here a third time to ask once again. I think rollback would be much easier in loads of situations. I patrol certain pages and help maintain others, and I've had the experience of needing to revert numerous edits but since I do not have the rollback feature I have had to manually revert the changes, which take up too much time and are quit time consuming, not to mention tedious. So I am here once again to request rollback in order to revert vandalism, unconstructive edits or misinformation as well as other tid bits. There have been too many times when multiple rounds of improper edits/vandalism on pages I follow have required individual reversions, so having the rollback permission would be useful. Coining (talk) 04:09, 21 February 2025 (UTC)

I mainly edit on pages related to sportscar racing, where unregistered users often edit multiple small things (often going against the page consensus at the time) in the span of a few minutes. This role would be particularly useful to be able to rollback these edits at once. I check my watchlist multiple times a day and I am quite active in general. Thanks for your time.
