To report an error in content currently or imminently on the Main Page, use the appropriate section below.
- Where is the error? An exact quotation of the text in question helps.
- Offer a correction if possible.
- References are helpful, especially when reporting an obscure factual or grammatical error.
- Time zones. The Main Page runs on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, currently 01:38 on 23 April 2025) and is not adjusted to your local time zone.
- Can you resolve the problem yourself? If the error lies primarily in the content of an article linked from the Main Page, fix the problem there before reporting it here. Text on the Main Page generally defers to the articles with bolded links. Upcoming content on the Main Page is usually only protected from editing beginning 24 hours before its scheduled appearance. Before that period, you can be bold and fix any issues yourself.
- Do not use {{edit fully-protected}} on this page, which will not get a faster response. It is unnecessary, because this page is not protected, and causes display problems because this is not a talk page. (See the bottom of this revision for an example.)
- No chit-chat. Lengthy discussions should be moved to a suitable location elsewhere, such as the talk page of the relevant article or project.
- Respect other editors. Another user wrote the text you want changed, or reported an issue they see in something you wrote. Everyone's goal should be producing the best Main Page possible. The compressed time frame of the Main Page means sometimes action must be taken before there has been time for everyone to comment. Be civil to fellow users.
- Reports are removed when resolved. Once an error has been addressed or determined not to be an error, or the item has been rotated off the Main Page, the report will be removed from this page. Check the revision history for a record of any discussion or action taken; no archives are kept.

[edit]- Pope item: please link 'dies' to Death and funeral of Pope Francis. Modest Genius talk 13:26, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
- Looks fleshed out enough. Have updated. Any admin can revert if otherwise. – robertsky (talk) 13:32, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
- I don't object, but I think generally I'd rather leave it up to ITN/C to decide which articles should be featured in bold. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 14:48, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, sorry, I reverted this before seeing this post. At the moment, the Death/funeral article (which has been split off into a "Reactions to..." article as well) adds practically nothing that isn't in the Pope's main article itself, and bolding the spin-off means that the fact that we want people to read the best and most informative article is being diminished. If and when the spin-off is useful (which I suspect will probably be after the funeral) I would say it should then be linked. Black Kite (talk) 14:53, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
- I deliberately did not suggest bolding the link, just adding it as a normal link. Modest Genius talk 16:35, 22 April 2025 (UTC)

- Because quality has to be checked, switching blurb targets that were not previoisly discussed at the ITNC need to be proposed there, not here. Non target links can be fixed or added since we don't consider quality of those. Masem (t) 14:55, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
- I've just opened an ITNC subsection at WP:ITNC#Possible blurb target change to Death and funeral of Pope Francis for this purpose. Left guide (talk) 00:30, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
