Content about 2022 album release
[edit]I noticed that an IP editor added the following new content, which was quickly (and correctly!) deleted because it was unsourced and unverified:
Their 2022 release, Life, is the result of an international collaboration between SALT (based in Paris, feat. Stéphane Schuck, gtrs; Benoit Lautridou, drums; Fred Quenton, bass) and their guests Matthew Caws (Nada Surf), Matthew Sweet, Juliana Hatfield, Richard Lloyd (Television), Anton Barbeau, Susan Cowsill, Mitch Easter, Andy Partridge (tent.), Matt Douglas (Mountain Goats) and Chris Stamey, Peter Holsapple, Gene Holder and Will Rigby (the dB's). Recorded at Fidelitorium (Kernersville, NC), Ferber Studios (Paris), and Modern Recording (Chapel Hill, NC), as well as at artisan studios. Produced by Chris Stamey.
I tried to independently verify it with a quick Google search, but was not successful. Although the deleted content is still unsourced, and therefore not yet suitable for inclusion in the article, it seems to me that the high level of detail makes it credible. I hope the editor who contributed this information will follow up by providing a citation to a reliable source. Lwarrenwiki (talk) 15:12, 16 March 2022 (UTC)

SALT (band) → The Salt Collective – WP:NAMECHANGES; MOS:ALLCAPS 162 etc. (talk) 06:52, 3 February 2025 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). 162 etc. (talk) 17:00, 4 February 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (Goodbye!) 03:53, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
- No problem with downcasing, but not sure about changing to The Salt Collective. From what I can gather, the latter is a collaboration with various others to produce an album, but not clear that it is identical to the original Salt group, or indeed can be said to supersede it... — Amakuru (talk) 15:38, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
- I agree on eliminating the all-caps, but if their name remains "Salt" note that there is another band of that name (from Sweden) at Salt (band). ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 15:44, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
