    The Spam-whitelist page is used in conjunction with the Mediawiki SpamBlacklist extension, and lists strings of text that override Meta's blacklist and the local spam-blacklist. Any administrator can edit the spam whitelist. Please post comments to the appropriate section below: Proposed additions (web pages to unblock), Proposed removals (sites to reblock), or Troubleshooting and problems; read the messageboxes at the top of each section for an explanation. See also MediaWiki talk:Spam-blacklist.

    Please enter your requests at the bottom of the Proposed additions to Whitelist section and not at the very bottom of the page. Sign your requests with four tildes: ~~~~

    Also in your request, please include the following:

    1. The link that you want whitelisted in the section title, like === example.com/help/index.php === .
    2. The Wikipedia page on which you want to use the link
    3. An explanation why it would be useful to the encyclopedia article proper
    4. If the site you're requesting is listed at /Common requests, please include confirmation that you have read the reason why requests regarding the site are commonly denied and that you still desire to proceed with your request

    Important: You must provide a full link to the specific web page you want to be whitelisted (leave out the http:// from the front; otherwise you will not be able to save your edit to this page). Requests quoting only a domain (i.e. ending in .com or similar with nothing after the / character) are likely to be denied. If you wish to have a site fully unblocked please visit the relevant section of MediaWiki talk:Spam-blacklist.

    Note: Do not request links to be whitelisted where you can reasonably suspect that the material you want to link to is in violation of copyright (see WP:LINKVIO). Such requests will likely be summarily rejected.

    There is no automated notification system in place for the results of requests, and you will not be notified when your request has a response. You should therefore add this page to your personal watch list, to your notifications through the subscribe feature, or check back here every few days to see if there is any progress on it; in particular, you should check whether administrators have raised any additional queries or expressed any concerns about the request, as failure to reply to these promptly will generally result in the request being denied.

    If you have a source that you would like to add to the spam-whitelist, but you are uncertain that it meets Wikipedia's guideline on reliability, please ask for opinions on the Reliable sources noticeboard, to confirm that it does meet that guideline, before submitting your whitelisting request here. In your request, link to the confirming discussion on that noticeboard.

    Likewise, if you have an external link that you are uncertain meets Wikipedia's guideline on external links, please get confirmation on the External links noticeboard before submitting your whitelisting request here.

    If your whitelist request falls under one of these two categories, the admins will be more willing to have the source whitelisted if you can achieve consensus at one of the above noticeboards.

    Requesting use this website, as a source of concert photographs for the Los Angeles, band Militarie Gun in regards to a tour done with other music artists Knocked Loose and Danny Brown. It should be noted dyingscene.com is purely a music news website with no malicious, immoral or graphic content. I would suggest whitelisting the site.     This is a link to Jeremy Renner's Love and Titanium Album - the most recent album he has made and that is the link he has provided on his Instagram and X accounts. I request this for the citation.

    Smarturl is lnk's alternative link that Mr. Renner used on Facebook in a post.

It is my citation source given by the Actor - singer on Facebook, Instagram, and X social media official accounts in posts and on the sites themselves. I would also like the google links to his albums enabled.

    Unless you can provide better alternatives... I did not add those to the title, because it would be an over flow in the title and did not make sense to me. I hope this would help. As these are the only things I can find to provide citations and references to the albums to keep from others "Assuming" he did not do these albums.     no Declined this entire request. The smarturl.it and lnk.to pages are just collections of links to streaming services. Since Wikipedia is not a link farm or a catalog, there no good reason to include such links. And we don't whitelist URL shorteners under pretty much any circumstance, so the last three links are off the table. If it hadn't been for that I would have wanted to go there, because in this case it does seem to be one of very few sources on the topic and is worded helpfully etc and while not a WP:MEDRS is a WP:MEDPOP that could help back up some of the clarification that would benefit the topic.     • Trying to add the following prose to the Morgpie article: entering the industry as an amateur in 2019,. This bit would be cited by the camgirlallaccess.com source. Due to Morgpie being a pornographic film actress, the interview was naturally conducted by a porn website in 2020, and because of "camgirl" being in its url, it was blocked from being added. Since it's an interview with Morgpie herself, and I'd only be using it to cite her entry into porn in 2019, and by extension the "years active" parameter in her infobox, it should also be permissible as per WP:SELFSOURCE.     Additional whitelist request for Morgpie sourcing

    • So with sourcing on her age saying she's 22 (once by Game Rant in December 2023 and then by Tubefilter in March 2024), this would put her around 23 today. I could not find third-party sourcing on her actual birthday, except from Famous Birthdays, which lists it as June 1, 2001. Obviously can't use that source, and I'm speculating this is perhaps where other sources got that 22 number from (as it does line up with Dec. 2023 and Mar. 2024). Speculation aside, however, as per my previous request on here, she stated she began making adult films in 2019. To have that 2001 math legally work out, she would have had to start in June or later of that year, but the earliest archive on her Pornhub account dates back to April 2019. As it happens, that April 2019 archive also shows her birthday listed as June 1, 1999. Would like to again request a whitelist here to cite her birthday using the April 2019 archive in the archive-url parameter and include it in the infobox. Again invoking WP:SELFSOURCE here, as this sort of information should be good to be self-sourced. Should be 24 if her birthday was the 1st. Also this this tweet dated June 25, 2021, where she says her birthday was earlier in the week. Could maybe have a note present that details this inconsistency, which would necessitate this PH source, but that's definitely fluff and so withdrawing this particular request.     Is your rationale that it is refreshing? It is not, it's the the largest comprehensive List of works in fiction about mind uploading which for obvious reasons is a useful link to have at an article about Mind uploading in fiction. It's not synced and is the same since 17 January 2025‎ so please allow that mere link to the useful resource of interest to readers to be added. I don't think some source for it exists, that doesn't mean a link to this list wouldn't be useful to a reader and it's best if it's a page that can be updated with new items like the link I would like to add which definitely is both relevant and useful to many of the article's readers.     engine.xyz

    The xyz domain is blacklisted, however The Engine's website uses the xyz domain. The company's website is a critical source for the encyclopedia article and should thus be whitelisted to ensure the article can be properly cited.     Ah I see where the confusion comes from. I'm writing a new article for The Engine, the deep tech startup incubator and accelerator created by MIT (Massachusetts Institute for Technology). engine.xyz is the official website for this startup accelerator, and thus would be a primary source for the wikipedia page for The Engine (the accelerator).     @Rkerstens Please start a draft first (Draft:The Engine, though you'll have to specify the name), get it independently approved. Until then you'll not be able to add the links, but you'll have to save those without 'https://' prefix. Note that you will need sufficient independent sources to support your article, not mainly/only primary ones to the company website.     @Rkerstens - instead of 'link blocked' say 'engine.xyz/about' (e.g., just leave off the https:// from the start). In that way the page can be found and looked at. Note that I think that also the MIT references are rather primary. You may need more independent ones.

    This is my first time requesting a link to be allowed here on Wikipedia but this is how i plead my case: I plan to work upon video game articles related to Toaplan, a then-prominent shoot 'em up developer from the 80s and 90s. Prior to and after the closure of Toaplan in 1994, several staff members splintered to or formed various companies to continue working on games, such as Tamsoft, Raizing/Eighting, Takumi, Cave, Gazelle, as well as Taito. The Insomnia link in question (https://web.archive.org/web/20081220075149/http://insomnia.ac/commentary/a_history_of_toaplan/) contains information about what happened and the then-whereabouts of many former staff members after Toaplan closed its doors, which i have corroborated based on available interviews with former Toaplan members and cross-referencing staff names via MobyGames for example. This specific link will only be used in articles related to the aforementioned companies and no other place outside of those. I take responsibility in the use of the Insomnia link in question. If it cannot be unblocked, i will respect the decision given by anyone deciding to discuss the use of the source in question. Either way, thank you!     While I don't spend much time in the blacklist/whitelist area, and am rather confused as to why this website would be blocked in the first place (I'd love to learn if anyone can explain), I can vouch for Roberth, in that they're a good editor in good standing in the community, and their intentions in using it make sense in the video game content area.     I have not made any decision on what to do yet. I was just responding to Dan's comment. Most likely someone (either me or Beetstra) will at some point whitelist just that one specific archived URL, which you will then cite with |url-status=usurped to avoid linking to the still-blacklisted original.     The Cybersocket Web Awards are presented by Cybersocket, Inc.. Their websites are down, assuming they still operating. The link above (which is working under the archived copy at web.archive.org) includes the list of winners for the 17th ceremony. No other website includes it; at most, I found websites announcing that the ceremony would happen. There have been a few discussions regarding the website, including Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_312#The_Sword, with a positive light (I'm not attempting to whitelist the whole website) but by itself, I can't find discussions banning it altogether or tagging it as unreliable.     Gregory Horror Show on Kickstarter.com

    The creator of the show launched two separate Kickstarter campaigns last year. One was for translating a video game and producing a pilot for a new iteration of the show. After that failed, he attempted a second campaign solely for the game's English release. The latter was successful. I'd like to add this information to the page as it is the most recent development for the franchise. Both campaigns are over and no longer collecting funds.     @Dirk Beetstra Unfortunately, there was very little publicity given to either of the Kickstarters. If there was press coverage, I would've just cited that instead of the campaign pages. Digging into it, I can only find two articles from Japanese outlet 4Gamer.net. The game itself was initially crowdfunded in Japan using Campfire and there was third-party coverage for that, but that was also limited to Japanese sources. As this is a Japanese media property, I don't think that's really an issue, but it looks like 4Gamer's coverage of the English campaigns didn't mention the pilot. I do think that's worth mentioning as that push coincided with a separate attempt to reboot the TV show, which was reported by a British TV trade outlet.
