Semi-protection: Persistent Sockpuppetry. This particular sock puppet is especially persistent, as they have been making disruptive and unsourced edits to band member sections of articles and block evading for four or five years now. See: Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Brettandelle/Archive and . This page was protected for only a couple of weeks, and as soon as the protection expired, the Sockpuppetry started up again. Over 14 years ago, the page for Cartoon Network's MAD series was infinitely protected by administer Courcelles. This was due to the efforts of a small group of IP-based vandals, whom upon further inspection have been inactive since late 2010 — not long after the protection was set. This — alongside the amount of time passed since the article's protection — has led me to the conclusion that the article's continued infinite semi-protection is redundant and unnecessary (especially for a show which premiered its last episode over a decade ago).

I think that the supposed co-founder 'Andrew McCollum' should be removed. The initial Business Insider article used to cite the founders of Facebook makes not reference to him, and references to him as the co-founder of Facebook in the media only seem to have happened once he was edited into the article. His own article is also sloppily written which might indicate a very elaborate form of vandalism? The claim in one of the pictures that he was the designer of the original Facebook logo also seems to inaccurate, with the logo being attributed to 'Mike Buzzard' and 'Joe Kral' in other articles. Not done Your request isn't clear enough, nor supported by independent sources. A lack of mention in a source doesn't prove a fact, btw. The fact that two articles disagree on a point (who made the logo) means we need to find a proper source first, then correct the article that is wrong, or if there are conflicting sources, say as much in both articles. Requested this permission ~2 months ago, denied because I was mostly creating auto-notable stubs. I think I have expanded the types of articles I create, including well-sourced local pages or biographical entries where I take time to source subjects that do not inherently meet a generic notability criteria. (I still do create auto-notable pages sometimes, but those no longer make up the majority of pages I create.) As a new page reviewer, I got good experience with the notability guidelines reviewing articles during the backlog drive WP:MAY25, and also participating in AfD. Toadboy123 has created 193 articles of consistently high quality; none have been deleted, while quite a few have gone through DYK and appeared on the Main Page, often with excellent hooks. I do not think we need to keep reviewing their creations. Toadboy123 was warned twice for copyright violations by Diannaa in 2022, but she and I have both taken a look at several articles created since then and haven't found further issues (discussed here, after which I spot checked six recent creations). I have been editing for over five years with 3.8K mainspace edits, which includes 61 articles creations, none of which have been deleted. I have never had a behavioral block or 3RR violation. Hi, I recently began helping in clearing out requested moves at RMC. Usually, most of the requests would require me request at the technical request section as page already exist at moves desired location. I attempt whenever possible to correct article titles to sentence case when necessary, but am frequently unable to do so because of the existence of a single-edit redirect. I've been advised at "Requested moves" just to ask for the pagemover right already after 75,000 edits in nearly 11 years. A perfect current example: Sweet and Sour Pork, which I can't move to Sweet and sour pork without requesting the move and making someone else do my work for me. Thanks for your consideration! Howdy. I'm an active participant over at WP:DYK, and recently ran in WP:AELECT but did not pass the threshold. Discussion centered around lack of experience on WP:AIV, an area I expressed interest in getting involved in. A decent part of my running for adminship was wanting to help with processing WP:DYK queues, which are template-protected. In my election discussion there were no concerns raised about my professionalism, content creation or reviewing competency, which are the primary things needed with processing DYK queues. I do not meet some of the standard template editor guidelines (e.g. sandbox/significant template edits, etc), but I also do not plan on using the role outside of DYK queue processing. Creeks
[edit]Making Maps
[edit]Here's how I make the maps - basically they are all from the Census factfinder web site here. I always use the 2000 census data and if I enter "Ohio", I get this. Next I go to the upper left corner under "Change", click there on "Boundaries and Features" and turn off all labels and all features except the state and county borders (boundaries). Then I get this. I copy the map (right click, or control and Print Screen) then paste that into MS Paint or Paint Dot Net and change the colors so they are consistent with the WikiProject Maps guidleines - I started with the Image:US Locator Blank.svg for its colors. I put a one pixel wide black line around the maps and save them in PNG format in Wikimedia Commons (I have an account there too).
What I like about the maps is that they are US Government work and so public domain (and I release my modifications under the GFDL). You can zoom in a lot, add streets and water and township and city borders in. Some other examples I have made starting with these are here: Image:Larrys Creek Watershed Map.PNG (started from county and township borders and creeks in the census map), Image:Fort Wayne Indiana Metro Map.PNG (several counties, left the urban areas pink), and my most ambitious county map Image:Lancaster County, PA.PNG.
