Should we include that she would be the first vice president of a former vice president to be elected president? 2601:249:1A80:22E0:8819:78DC:B7FB:6CBA (talk) 18:45, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In the Kamala is for they/them section, there is a reference that has been orphaned for quite some time because it did not get copied over from the main article correctly. <ref name="v575"/> should be replaced with <ref name="v575">{{cite web | last=Davis | first=Susan | title=Republican campaigns have been blanketing the airwaves with anti-trans ads | website=NPR | date=October 11, 2024 | url=https://www.npr.org/2024/10/11/nx-s1-5148774/republican-campaigns-have-been-blanketing-the-airwaves-with-anti-trans-ads | access-date=November 8, 2024}}</ref>, as taken directly from the section's main article. 57birdnerd (talk) 06:10, 25 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Tim Walz's criticism

[edit]

Hello, fellow Wikipedia editors! As this is a protected article, I cannot do it myself, so I just want to take to the talk page to advocate for inputting some of Walz's criticism of the campaign into the outcome section. Comments like saying they "played it too safe"(Schneider, Elena. "Tim Walz has some sharp critiques of the Dem 2024 campaign". Politico. Retrieved 10 March 2025.), his regret at not doing events all through the Fall after, according to him, the campaign asked him not to (Dovere, Edward-Isaac. "Back on the road, Tim Walz tries to find his voice and fill 'the void'". CNN. Retrieved April 6, 2025.), and his requests that the Democrats reflect upon their strategy, at times bluntly saying "I own this" as well (Galbraith, Alex. ""Own this": Walz tells CNN he doesn't appreciate Harris' "I told you so"". Yahoo. Retrieved April 6, 2025. and Fortinsky, Sarah. "Tim Walz: 'We wouldn't be in this mess if we had won the election'". The Hill (newspaper). Retrieved April 6, 2025.), are all important to catalogue as the Vice Presential candidate publicly criticizing the ticket he was part of. I've collected these sources to ensure I'm not just vaguely gesturing at something and can back up what I'm saying, heh. I also want to help, at least a little; if I cannot directly edit the page, I can point to these sources as a small way of helping Editoronthewiki (talk) 02:00, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
