Hey all, and welcome to my page!
I became a member in September of 2024, but I have familiarized myself with many of the ways that things operate here for years prior to actually making an account when I would just wander through Wikipedia for the heck of it.
I am a lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio, and I am currently a student at Youngstown State University (go Guins!).
Most of what I work on things that are local to me, as quite a few of the pages haven't seen the care they've needed for quite some time now. I'm still getting a feel for things, so we'll see what I can do in the future. My big thing right now is the article on the Portage Trail Conference, as the future of the conference isn't looking too good, and with the major news source for it in the past (the Record-Courier) is a skeleton crew anymore, now's the time to get it in order. The conference played a great part in my experience with high school sports, and even though my alma mater left the conference, it's still important to me.
In addition, I poke around with maintenance and cleanup tasks from time-to-time. Sometimes doing things like that scratch the itch in my brain.
I'll come around to dressing this place up a bit in the not-too-distant-future, once I get a better feel for things.
