The 2025 Philippine House of Representatives elections in Caraga were held on May 12, 2025, as part of the 2025 Philippine general election.

Agusan del Norte

As a result of Agusan del Norte being redistricted in 2022, the district was recreated with the municipality of Las Nieves, which used to be under the 1st district, and the municipalities that were under the 2nd district.

Dale Corvera (Lakas–CMD), the incumbent of Agusan del Norte's 2nd district, is running in this district for a second term unopposed.[1][2][3] He was elected in 2022 under PDP–Laban with 78.75% of the vote.

Butuan

As a result of Butuan being redistricted in 2022, a district was created for the city. Butuan used to be under Agusan del Norte's 1st district prior to redistricting.

Incumbent Agusan del Norte's 1st district representative Jose Aquino II (Lakas–CMD) is running in this district for a second term unopposed.[1][2][8] He was elected in 2022 with 45.25% of the vote.

Dinagat Islands

Incumbent Alan Ecleo (Lakas–CMD) is running for a third term.[2] He was re-elected in 2022 with 64.72% of the vote.

Ecleo is running against former Dinagat Islands governor Kaka Bag-ao (Liberal Party).[2][9]

Term-limited incumbent Francisco Jose Matugas II (Lakas–CMD) is running for governor of Surigao del Norte.[10][2] He was re-elected in 2022 under PDP–Laban with 60.81% of the vote.

Matugas' father, former Surigao del Norte governor Francisco Matugas (Lakas–CMD), is running against two other candidates.[10][2][11]

Incumbent Romeo Momo (Nacionalista Party) is running for a second term.[2] He was elected in 2022 as an independent with 50.76% of the vote.

Momo is running against Marihatag mayor Justin Pelenio (Aksyon Demokratiko).[2][13]

2nd district

Term-limited incumbent Johnny Pimentel (National Unity Party) is running for governor of Surigao del Sur.[2] He was re-elected in 2022 under PDP–Laban with 75.93% of the vote.

Pimentel's brother, Surigao del Sur governor Alexander Pimentel (Partido Federal ng Pilipinas), is running against three other candidates, including former Cantilan mayor Carla Lopez-Pichay (Lakas–CMD).[2][14]
