ITN revert
Thanks for reverting that inadvertent ITN protection of mine. While, I somewhat remember accidentally tapping some side panel protection link while on tablet, I don't remember pressing "save" and could swear I pressed "back". Embarrassing. Thanks again. —Bagumba (talk) 00:08, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

Your WikiCup submission: Talk:The Man Who Knew Too Much (Alexander McQueen collection)/GA1
Hi Queen of Hearts, thanks for participating in the WikiCup. You recently submitted Talk:The Man Who Knew Too Much (Alexander McQueen collection)/GA1 for GANR points in the WikiCup. Unfortunately, the review is not long enough; besides the standard GA criteria check and spot check, it seems you left only one minor comment about the sources. As per Wikipedia:WikiCup/Scoring, such reviews are ineligible for points; you can only claim points for sufficiently detailed reviews. – Epicgenius (talk) 15:07, 30 January 2025 (UTC)

Suggestion to filter 1338
On the filter's title, it says new users
so maybe we should limit the filter to only non-confirmed users? Also, should we need to set the filter to warn and tag (because most hits appear to be disruptive), we should first get consensus at the edit filter noticeboard. Thank you. Codename Noreste (talk) 19:19, 31 January 2025 (UTC)

Tamzin Hadasa Kelly RFD
Hello, you participated in an RFD discussion for Tamzin Hadasa Kelly, which redirects to the encyclopedia article Wikipedia administrators#Requests for adminship. However, several people (including me) misinterpreted it as a redirect to projectspace, it seemed like we couldn't have an accurate discussion, so I've closed the discussion and renominated it at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2025 February 2#Tamzin Hadasa Kelly. Please go there to participate again, and if your opinion at the first RFD still applies, please feel free to copy/paste your rationale from before. Nyttend (talk) 22:41, 2 February 2025 (UTC)

GAR
Hi, could you please revert your recent GAR closes? The closing period was recently changed to a month. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 09:50, 8 February 2025 (UTC)
- @AirshipJungleman29: Not sure how to feel about that, but I think I reverted everything. charlotte 👸♥ 19:16, 8 February 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks, and yeah, me neither. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 19:23, 8 February 2025 (UTC)
- @AirshipJungleman29: - How does this new standard interact with seemingly uncontroversial keep closes? Are my closes at Wikipedia:Good article reassessment/Supermarine Spitfire/1 and Wikipedia:Good article reassessment/Pine Island Glacier/1 problematic? Surely a reassessment where all involved parties agree that it should be kept is exempt from the month, right? This would also apply to one of Q of H's vacated closes - Wikipedia:Good article reassessment/Ronnie Barker/1, although that articles does include a single citation to IMDB yet. Hog Farm Talk 04:58, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
- I'd IAR, as I have done previously Hog Farm. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 17:41, 9 February 2025 (UTC)

Gorbachev GAR
I've cut Gorbachev down to 11,500 words from a rather long 17,000. Hope that meets your concerns. It'd be appreciated if you could say what you now think on the GAR page. Chiswick Chap (talk) 09:35, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
- Didn't manage to comment before closure but fyi, I don't have any objections to the GAR being closed as keep. I give @Chiswick Chap for going through and fixing and shortening up the article, and doing "my job" of summarising the Leader of the Soviet Union section. All Tomorrows No Yesterdays (Ughhh.... - You're welcome, Fortuna imperatrix mundi! charlotte 👸♥ 14:27, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
Queen of Hearts, it has been two days short of five months since you last posted to your review of this GA nomination, and you haven't responded to multiple queries there about the status of your review, despite significant editing activity elsewhere.
On February 21, it will have been a full five months. If you haven't responded by then with your plans—if you haven't edited on Wikipedia in the interim, I will naturally wait until you have edited so you have a chance to respond—I will request a second opinion in the hopes of getting a reviewer to finish up the review. Thank you for your attention to this and your understanding. BlueMoonset (talk) 05:22, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, BlueMoonset – I'm surprised this hasn't already happened, please do so. For the record, I'm pretty sure it just needs a spotcheck. charlotte 👸♥ 14:27, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
NPP
Hi. Did you intend to give this user the NPP flag along with their PCR? They raised a query because they didn't apply for it and did not know what Page Curation was. They know what to do now and will probably (hopefully) use it once they have read the instructions. I might even give them some training if I have time. NPP has a very steep learning curve and not all good AfC reviewers are aware of it. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 20:41, 15 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hello Kudpung, apologies for the late reply. I trust that Qcne's AfC experience will translate into NPP, although I will admit that me granting him NPP without tilling him anything about it was subpar. charlotte 👸♥ 14:27, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
- No worries. Because it requires a near admin level of notability and deletion policies the right is generally only accorded at WP:PERM (like other requests for user rights) after a thorough vetting, and a proven track record and need for the extra tools. In the first instance, NPP is usually granted on probation for 30 days. If you haven't already done so, do check out the PERM requests, it often gets backlogged and coulddo with some help. Take care, Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 14:37, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
