Quick draftification

Hello there, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I wanted to reach out because I noticed your recent draftication of Draft:Metlika black, which occurred 6 minutes after the article was created. Per DRAFTNO, articles shouldn't be draftified if they are actively being edited. In practice, this means articles shouldn't be draftified if they have been meaningfully edited in the past hour.

I understand and sympathize with wanting blank articles out of main space, but we also need to recognize that it can come across as bitey to draftify an article too quickly -- especially considering that articles in mainspace do not need to be complete, and editors are allowed to develop articles in the mainspace .

Hi, AwkoTaco19! I cannot speak to why Frank Ken chose to draftify the article. However, after reading through and evaluating the sources, I noticed the following:

• The article has a promotional tone (e.g., Blabbermouth highlights Prents' expertise).
• The article lacks independent sources with significant coverage of Prent. For example, several sources are interviews or promote an event Prent is speaking at, so they do not work toward establishing notability. Several sources barely mention Prent (e.g., all the Blabbermouth references).
• Some sources failed verification, meaning they did not support the information in the preceding sentence.

All in all, I have reservations about the article. By my count, none of the sources help establish notability because they either lack independence and/or significant coverage. Looking at WP:NMUSIC, musicians may be notable if they've been nominated for a Grammy, though they must "have been the direct recipient of a nomination in their own name". I'm not as familiar with NMUSIC nor Prent's nomination to say whether this is the case.

This editor, User:Frank Ken, moved a page I created into Draft for reasons of notability without saying what was needed when there already were citations from secondary reliable sources. Your page looks like it has the citations for notability but just needs to have these references and whatever more you have cite each paragraph, or sentence if you want to be detailed about it.
