Information icon Hello, I'm Frost. I noticed that you recently removed content from Battle of Nakhchivan (1919) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the War over Mountainous Armenia article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site this statement (or something similar): "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License".

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the Teahouse. You can also leave a message on my talk page. --Yamla (talk) 11:36, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This also applies to Battle of Nakhchivan (1919). Now is the time to disclose all other cases where you created content by copying it rather than writing it from scratch by yourself. If I otherwise determine you have done this in many other places, you will be blocked indefinitely. --Yamla (talk) 11:48, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also to Battle of Sadakhlo. --Yamla (talk) 11:52, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Battle of Goris

[edit]

Hello Armenian from Artsakh,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Battle of Goris for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.

If you don't want Battle of Goris to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hello,CFA. You did right, nobody don't need an empty and redirected article. If I end my draft, can I move it to mainspace? Armenian from Artsakh (talk) 06:59, 28 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that's fine. C F A 17:25, 28 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

[edit]

I noticed a couple of your pages about the military history of Armenia and I figured I should reach out to you. I am working on a personal project of my own regarding the topic, specifically the proper documentation of the Armenian National Movement. The current state of almost all of the pre-WWI and genocide battles and clashes lack a lot of information and details. Many notable events, battles, fedayis, and political figures also don't have any pages of their own. I am currently working on creating these pages and eventually updating the lackluster ones, and I already have a couple of pages prepared on my sandbox and have gathered a couple of good sources to use. Would you be interested in helping me out with this subject? So far I have asked Hay Kamavor if he is interested since he too has made a couple of similar pages.

Alright, understandable.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Armenian-Byzantine Wars, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tarsus. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Thanks for your contributions to Retreat of Mongols from Cilicia. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it has too many problems of language or grammar. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 09:01, 25 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
