It was after I read a book authored by Waziri Adio, who is a well known Journalist and public servant in Nigeria. I decided to get more information about him but I couldn't get a comprehensive and concise information about him, that led me to search for him on Wikipedia and was told that there was not article in his name and I opted to create a Wikipedia profile for him, it was at this point that i came across the draft by Oyindamola Bello and I decided to improve on the draft.

It was through sn internal Wikipedia search. I was not invited to work on this article although I edited some Wikipedia articles some year back, 2017 I think but I lost the account when I misplaced my device. I intend to become a regular contributor to Wikipedia as time permit.

January 2025 Backlog Drive | New pages patrol
On 1 January 2025, a one-month backlog drive for new pages patrol will begin in hopes of addressing the growing backlog. Barnstars will be awarded based on the number of articles and redirects patrolled. Each article review will earn 1 point, while each redirect review will earn 0.2 points. Streak awards will be given out based on consistently hitting point thresholds for each week of the drive.
