Request reason:

Apologies – I assumed I was allowed to post this page because I filled in the disclaimer. What can I do to address this? SBruv (talk) 18:34, 8 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You made the required disclaimer, but that does not give you a license to promote your company. Wikipedia articles(at least here on the English Wiipedia, which is different from the German Wikipedia) summarize what independent reliable sources choose to say about a company, not what it says about itself and its offerings. You also evaded the block on your other account(with the company name as your username). 331dot (talk) 09:02, 9 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

I'm a bit confused by the disclaimer: being blocked despite having stated that I've been asked by the company to make this page rather makes the disclaimer meaningless, doesn't it? I genuinely don't get how that works. If someone isn't allowed to be hired by a company to make a Wikipedia page for them, why is there a disclaimer that appears to permit such activity?

And I wasn't trying to 'evade' the block – I just thought it might be okay if I did it under my own name.

PLease clarify, because this really was an honest mistake, not an attempt to circumvent the rules.

Thanks,

Ronan
