Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, you may be blocked from editing. I have moved two of your pages back to draftspace because the sources didn't seem to support the article (or the bits they supposedly referenced). I notice e.g. in Draft:Siege of Urmia (which you put in the mainspace) that the single source says nothing about the Siege of Urmia. Please always include page numbers to help determine whether a source is used correctly or not, and certainly always make certain that the sources really support the text you add. Giving out False speedy deletion

[edit]

This user has been giving out false speedy deletes on Assyrian wiki pages out of frustration because he and his friends Wikipedia pages has justifiably been nominated for Deletion.

he doesn’t provide reasons for the speedy delete, the wiki pages are well made with multiple sources cited. he and his friends are Kurds from TikTok who are prompting to remove any Assyrian page that somewhat makes them look “bad”, this doesn’t belong on Wikipedia.

the user isn’t qualified to make such decisions.

This user has currently managed to put a speedy delete on the following pages Battle of Aqra Dagh (1920) and Defense of Jujar (1920). Etcnoel1 (talk) 17:43, 18 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Etcnoel1: Those weren't speedy deletion tags, but malformed AfDs. I've now removed them since they served no purpose, and were being used incorrectly. CycloneYoris talk! 19:19, 18 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, MHD1234567890

[edit]

I am @Shaneapickle and I want to have a discussion with you, why do you think you do not need sources when like 100% of the mainspace pages on this website and the other language versions, have sources. Shaneapickle (talk) 12:59, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I understand the importance of sources, and I see now that my earlier comment about not needing them for the Yazidi massacres was mistaken. I said that because I assumed it was common knowledge, but I realize now that all content, even widely known events, should be properly sourced. I’ll make sure to correct that and provide the necessary references. MHD1234567890 (talk) 13:10, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
See Persecution of Yazidis I found the source here. MHD1234567890 (talk) 13:15, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Also if you want to read things about sources and stuff, here is a few links
WP:NOTABILITY
WP:MOS
WP:What is an article?
And if you need any questions on editing and page making, either ask the live help desk chat, the WP:TEAHOUSE ,your assigned mentor, or me. Shaneapickle (talk) 13:24, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
In regard of the Rawanduz Revolt, have you not seen that there are multiple sources cited? What’s your cause of speedy deletion? Etcnoel1 (talk) 13:41, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I am not talking to MHD on the rawanduz revolt thing, im talking to him about his other pages and their sources. Shaneapickle (talk) 14:20, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I want to make clear that I harbor no hostility toward you. However, user “Kajmer05” appears motivated by anti‑Kurdish nationalist sentiments and repeatedly seeks to delete or ban any pages related to Kurdistan. This pattern is evident on user “fram”’s talk page, where they discuss and attempt to remove the article. MHD1234567890 (talk) 14:31, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Also, you know those pages that you made might have a conflict of interest? Shaneapickle (talk) 14:34, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I understand that writing about topics I’m closely involved with can raise concerns. Please let me know which sections you feel may be biased, and I’ll gladly work to improve their neutrality. I’m also happy to invite other editors to review or take over these articles to ensure they meet Wikipedia’s COI and verifiability guidelines. MHD1234567890 (talk) 14:49, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Also I might report the guy who is trying to remove your pages and the kurdish nationalist pages to the admins because this feels like a violation Shaneapickle (talk) 14:55, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for taking action because for months now, other editors and I have had our pages deleted. MHD1234567890 (talk) 15:01, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
well im not gonna do that right now, first im gonna ask him Shaneapickle (talk) 15:04, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
nvm i discussed with him, and i am reporting this edit war Shaneapickle (talk) 15:33, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Why ? Give an explanation MHD1234567890 (talk) 15:52, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
technically its a disagreement, and im sorta on kajmers side on this one, your throwing mud at his name for no absolute reason Shaneapickle (talk) 15:52, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Because he keeps deleting my pages for minor reason MHD1234567890 (talk) 15:58, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
do you have proof? Shaneapickle (talk) 15:58, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
First of all he once deleted “Battle of Rawandiz” then “Rawandiz Revolt” for the same reason, as I said ever sources I showed PROVE that the battle or the revolt of Rawanduz existed, in reality there’s no NEED of debate, every Kurds know about this revolt, Fram or whatever the one who’s trying to refute my page say that the name of Rawanduz doesn’t appear much on my source it’s normal when the book mentions “Rawandooz, Ravandooz, Rowanduz” it only mention “Muhammad pasha, Mir Kor, Kurdish pasha” but they don’t understand this, and the Battle of Rawanduz got deleted while the source literally describe everything of the battle, this literally prove that the admin Fram or kajmer05 do not admit this maybe because of their ideology, everything is correct in my page and the sources are reliable (IF YOU READ IT CORRECTLY). Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to the topics of Kurds and Kurdistan, broadly construed, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
