[edit]

Hi there, I want to add a lyric from the song "Humble." by Kendrick Lamar that references Howard "Sandman" Sims to Sims' page, in the "In Pop Culture" tab. I am struggling a bit to understand the rules on song lyrics, like how to cite them and what constitutes fair use. Some guidance would be greatly appreciated. --Koipond22 (talk) 23:19, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Ms. Suzy Liz (14:36, 27 January 2025)

[edit]

There appears to be an error in the entry on Paul Winchell. The entry says that Paul Winchell criticized his mother in his autobiography and alleges, nonsensically, that his criticism of HIS OWN MOTHER resulted in his estrangemrnt from some of HIS CHILDREN since they did not like him criticizing THEIR MOTHER. That entry reads this: early stories of an abusive childhood, a long history of depression, and at least one mental breakdown, which resulted in a short stint in an institution.[26] The book revealed the bad treatment Winchell had received from his mother for a considerable period, and the mental impact that continued to negatively affect him for decades after his mother's death (Clara Wilchinski died in 1953 when she was only 58 years old, and Paul was 30). The autobiography caused a major estrangement between Winchell and his children, prompting daughter April to publicly defend her mother, who was negatively portrayed in the book. --Ms. Suzy Liz (talk) 14:36, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
