Hello Akashmdp. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Akashmdp. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Akashmdp|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 11:18, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Sarika Rao, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Akashmdp, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Akashmdp|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. 331dot (talk) 09:36, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I am not being paid. This actress is my friend. Previous one is also my friend. And this is not PR. I am just adding her bio. Akashmdp (talk) 10:20, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, you are not a paid editor, but you should make a conflict of interest disclosure. Please see conflict of interest. 331dot (talk) 10:21, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
To disclose COI, my page is under deletion. Can you please check? Akashmdp (talk) 14:59, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I have disclosed COI in my user page. Please have a look. Akashmdp (talk) 15:08, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I acknowledge my personal connection to Thapaswini poonacha and have disclosed this on my user page as per Wikipedia’s guidelines. However, I confirm that I am not a paid editor and have written this article in a neutral and well-sourced manner. Akashmdp (talk) 15:16, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Thapaswini Poonacha requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Thapaswini Poonacha (2nd nomination). When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Notice

The article Thapaswini Poonacha has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

shows little notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. GoldRomean (talk) 13:28, 2 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello GoldRomean,
Thank you for your message. Previously, while editing the article, it was automatically deleted, and since we were not technically strong at that time, we were unable to restore it. We now understand Wikipedia’s guidelines better and are working on improving the article by adding reliable sources and addressing notability concerns.
Could you please advise on specific improvements that would help meet the notability criteria? We appreciate your guidance.
Best regards,
Akash Akashmdp (talk) 17:02, 2 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello and thank you for the creation of the page,@Akashmdp. However can I ask you to please stop adding badly formatted links and more or less relevant info to her bio? I understand your intentions are good but, in my opinion, you are blurring the main things that make her notable: two lead roles in notable films. Please consider adding the material you wish to insert on the talk page first. And other users might help you. Best, -Mushy Yank. 18:09, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello @Mushy Yank,
Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate your insights and will be more mindful of formatting and relevance in future edits. My intention is to ensure that the page meets Wikipedia’s notability standards while providing accurate information.
I understand that the core of her notability comes from her two lead roles in notable films, and I will prioritize that over other details. Moving forward, I will use the talk page for any additional material before adding it to the article, as you suggested.
If there are any specific formatting issues that need immediate attention, please feel free to point them out, and I’ll be happy to correct them.
Best,
Akashmdp Akashmdp (talk) 18:14, 3 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
