Grammar, punctuation errors

[edit]

@Linkin Prankster, if you can't bring a solid grasp of grammar and punctuation to your editing, kindly stop reverting the folks who are trying to clean up after you. Also, please leave edit summaries. Thanks, PRRfan (talk) 14:31, 19 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I do have a solid grasp, but your grammar is poor. Linkin Prankster (talk) 14:50, 19 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
We should always be happy to learn and improve! You, for example, should learn that "Overnight between 15 and 16 March" is nonsensical; the way to express this is "On the night of 15-16 March". Can you point out my grammar errors? PRRfan (talk) 16:26, 19 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong Portuguese flag used.

[edit]

When referencing ships attacked that sail under the Portuguese flag, the image of the flag that appears is the monarchist Portuguese flag. Portugal hasn't been a monarchy for over a century. Please change the flag. 2001:818:DE3D:AA00:CD54:14D0:395D:138F (talk) 00:38, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The flag comes from {{flag|Portugal|civil}} →  Portugal. You can either remove the |civil or start a discussion at the project Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Portugal to get Template:Country data Portugal altered. There was a request previously made at Template talk:Country data Portugal#Civil Ensign outdated which does not appear to have started a discussion. Cabayi (talk) 11:36, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Extended-confirmed-protected edit request on 22 March 2025

[edit]

Please can the following be removed from the first sentence: "and Israel's genocide of Palestinians."

It was recently added without explanation or source:[1] by an editor who had many other edits rolled back for extreme POV pushing and had their extended confirmed revoked for gaming. It's a violation of NPOV to state this as fact in such a way. This language should be attributed to the Houthis. 92.22.187.223 (talk) 02:01, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: This talks about the Houthis' claims on why they started this, regardless of whether you think that they're true or not 𐩣𐩫𐩧𐩨 Abo Yemen (𓃵) 11:04, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
