I'm actually quite surprised on how someone finds the history of the UAE interesting, esp as it is portrayed as a history-less state, here at least. It's actually got a fascinating and rich history - just that nobody ever told it before! I was quite amazed to find I was the first! But, yeah, the cover price is pretty stiff.
