In the section regarding Countries which recognize Kosovo as an independent state the country name of Swaziland in line 64 should be changed to Eswatini to better reflect the countries new name as of 2018. Additionally, as countries are listed in order of when they recognized Kosovo, Bangladesh and Barbados at lines 102 and 103 should be switched as they are not in chronological order. Sierra Leone on list of recognition countries

Ive noticed that in the Wiki article Sierra Leone is shown on withdrawal list of Serbian claims. But Sierra Leone has recognized Kosovo and maintains talks with President Osmani - put Sierra Leone on list of recognition countries. Sierra Leone itself released a statement about this meeting. It is very clear that Sierra Leone recognizes the independence of Kosovo, calling it "the Republic of Kosovo", a "nation" and talking about "bilateral relations". This closes the debate. The President of Kosovo himself has confirmed the recognition and establishment of relations Kosovo-Sudan together with Sudanese foreign minister.

The president of Kosovo is the least reliable source ever for this topic, lol. According to Kosovo officials, over 110 countries recognize Kosovo, but every time Kosovo applies for joining UNESCO, INTERPOL etc it fails to get even the 95 votes it would need to be admitted. 85 regonised not 108

As of April 2025 85 countries(that are part of UN) regonised Kosovo as a sovereign country[1]. Also acroding to Serbia several countries withdrew regonsision including Libya but that isn't included on the wiki map154.205.154.254 (talk) 13:54, 16 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This is Serbian propaganda of Serbian Vucic regime.

The list of recognising countries is backed up by numerous reliable references and there is a high threshold of proof required before a new country is added to the list. Claims of derecognition that are sufficiently proven are listed separately and those countries are marked red on the map. Numerous claims of derecognition from the Serbian authorities have been refuted by the countries themselves, making such statements unreliable unless corroborated by the country concerned. As I have said earlier, claims made by the Serbian authorities have been refuted by the countries concerned, resulting in those countries remaining on the list of recognisers. The sources you have supplied do not provide any new evidence from sources within the countries you claim do not recognise Kosovo. If you can find an official statement from the government of a country which you claim has withdrawn recognition, then that issue can be discussed and a consensus reached. Ghana reaffirms recognition of Kosovo and relations with Kosovo

Accra, Ghana – In a significant diplomatic development, Jetlir Zyberaj, acting as a special envoy of former President Behgjet Pacolli, held an official and productive meeting with President John Dramani Mahama at the presidential palace, Jubilee House, in Accra. The meeting with Dacic you are referring is work visit for signing an memorandum about police work. From the meeting there is no denial of statehood of Kosovo from Somali official as you are mentioning - strong supporters of Kosovo also meet with Serbian officials to sign work papers. UNMIK cant speak on behalf of an sovereign country.
The decisions are made by the countries and respective elected governments not some articles of UNMIK officials published.

The article is in a concerning state. There is a staggering lack of reliably sourced material, and it fails to maintain a neutral point of view. Please explain in detail what change you would like to make to the article.

You both appear to be from one side of the argument (pro-Serbia) whilst there are other users in the discussion who are from the other camp (pro-Kosovo independence). When changes are made to the list of recognising (or derecognising) countries, they are usually done by people who are from neither camp, but who wish to see Wikipedia as a useful source of information to a global audience. It becomes rather disruptive when people let their bias cloud their judgement and demand changes because this article does not suit their worldview. Pro Serbia users want the list to read 85 whilst pro Kosovo independence users wish it to read 118. Every entry on the recognition list is backed by an appropriate reference and the list should remain as it is unless reliable proof to the contrary can be provided. There aren't Pro-Serbs and Pro-Kosovo here, there are people who supports Kosovo independence and add more countries (so people can say how kosovo is independent) and people who are saying most likely number of countries that regonised this province (which number is rejected because "VjOsA OsMaNi SaYs SoOo") Republika Srpska Lover (talk) 16:47, 16 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry but someone calling themselves "Republika Srpska Lover" and describing themselves as "Serbian" is clearly not neutral in this discussion. Their aim may be to make the numbers of recognising countries appear as low as possible. On the converse, there are some users who want to make the numbers as high as possible. I have added a statement to the lead section about the conflicting claims - “In total, Kosovo has received 116 diplomatic recognitions by UN member states, however conflicts have arisen regarding the exact number of countries recognising Kosovo. Kosovo claims that the number of countries recognising its independence is 119, whilst Serbia claims the number is 84, stating that some countries have withdrawn recognition. Antigua and Barbuda recognize Kosovo

The Head of State of Antigua and Barbuda, Governor-General Sir Rodney Williams, and First Lady Sandra Williams, came today to an official visit to the Republic of Kosovo. Remove the claims of Serbia in the article that state that Antigua and Barbuda have withdrawn their recognition. Antigua and Barbuda do recognize the Republic of Kosova this state visit confirms it.
