Images for never-built skyscrapers
[edit]Could someone from this take a look at the images newly added to the infoboxes of Houston Tower and Dubai Towers Istanbul? In addition to there being issues due to each file lacking any source or copyright information, there also may encyclopedic issues as well since it's not clear where the images are "official" renditions of some type or just the uploader's opinion on what each building would've looked like if completed. I'm sure they were added in good faith, they just don't seem very encyclopedic. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:55, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
- I think the images should be removed. As you say, they appear to be someone's unofficial "drawing". Rublamb (talk) 06:37, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
- There are enough "issues". Just delete them. IF they have been downloaded to commons they need to be nominated for deletion there. -- Otr500 (talk) 12:51, 11 February 2025 (UTC)

Herzog & de Meuron, Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron
[edit]To extend and upgrade the material available for these articles on Herzog & de Meuron and Jacques Herzog and in order to create a new article on Pierre de Meuron (still missing) I have created these drafts Herzog & de Meuron (draft), Jacques Herzog (draft) and Pierre de Meuron (draft). Some of the evident updates I have made already for Herzog & de Meuron. But I am not quite sure if and how to delete the later section of the article containing mainly lists of work, exhibition and publication that are far too long and not update. Anyone available to help me integrating the material? Many thanks for your help. Cheers, Quaenuncabibis (talk) 17:01, 29 January 2025 (UTC)

This stub has been unsourced for 15 years. What should be done? Can you find and add reliable sources? Do you want to merge it with Credenza? Bearian (talk) 21:24, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
- Seems a rather elaborate way of describing…putting two desks together. But it is a recognised term so there might be enough for a sub-section of Desk, if a decent source can be found, [1]? I can’t think it warrants a standalone, and don’t think it fits that well in Credenza. KJP1 (talk) 22:15, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
- I'm ok with a reasonable merger. Bearian (talk) 22:28, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
- Furniture is not architecture! What is this doing here? I must say, both articles look pretty dodgy to me, like many furniture articles. Johnbod (talk) 05:17, 5 February 2025 (UTC)
- I guess it's because there isn't a Wikipedia:WikiProject Furniture at which User:Bearian could have posed the question. Wikipedia:WikiProject Home Living and Wikipedia:WikiProject Woodworking are both said to be inactive, and Wikipedia:WikiProject Craft seems to have a rather different focus. KJP1 (talk) 09:10, 5 February 2025 (UTC)
- Correct. I'm just trying to inform folks who are most likely to be interested. Bearian (talk) 18:03, 5 February 2025 (UTC)

- I have stated maintenance and follow up are around 20 years behind. This 2004 unsourced article is a candidate to Delete or Merge. Merging should only be considered with a)- some sourcing, as there can be a lot of original research, b)- chopped down to a true stub, c)- both.
- I Agree with merging to Credenza per Bearian and not sure why KJP1 doesn't think it "fits that well". A credenza is usually a standalone piece of furniture but can be added to a main desk. If there is above desk storage it is a "credenza with hutch". There are credenza tv desks. The types can be traditional (classic sometimes ornate), mid-century modern, Scandinavian, industrial, contemporary, glass, rustic, marquetry, office credenza (credenza desk), and bookcase credenza (credenza with hutch) and inclusion of some (are all) of these in that article would be a net plus.
- Note: While there is interest, could one of our illustrious Wikinomes transfer/copy this to the article talk page? -- Otr500 (talk) 12:19, 11 February 2025 (UTC)
Here's another stub unsourced for 15 years. Please add reliable sources. Bearian (talk) 22:27, 4 February 2025 (UTC)

Draft article on Ealing Village – feedback welcome
[edit]Hi all! I'm working on a new draft article for Ealing Village, a 1930s residential estate in Ealing, West London. The article covers the architectural style, historical significance, and cultural context. I'm looking for feedback, sources, or a possible review to help move it forward toward approval.
Here's the draft: Draft:Ealing Village
Any input or assistance would be really appreciated. Thanks! BBISCAGLIA (talk) 19:37, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
Hi, at present we don't have many people working on architecture and buildings for this. There is nearly $3000 of prizes for this. Would love to see more European building articles coming in, feel free anybody to join in with the destubbing!♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:16, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
