A country pop album, Fearless is characterized by acoustic arrangements of guitars, banjos, fiddles, and strings. Its lyrics were inspired by Swift's adolescence and address love and heartbreak. The album has sold 12 million copies worldwide. In the United States, it spent 11 weeks atop the Billboard 200 and was certified Diamond.
