Hi Zidane tribal! I came here in response to your comment on the Parasite Eve II talk page. I'm afraid I was one of those who rather harshly criticised the spelling and grammar... please accept my apologies if you were offended by my comments in any way. Checking the article history, you clearly put a lot of effort into expanding the original stub - I should have known better than to belittle your work. It also gave me the opportunity to edit my first ever Wikipedia article, so I owe you for that! Perdóneme por favor... EyeSereneTALK22:39, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Re: Contact Me
Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, due to the nature of Wikipedia and the fact that even the history of every edit is available publicly, I prefer not to give out contact information. Sorry, but I'm a little paranoid about that stuff sometimes. ^^; Anyhow, here's hoping that we don't end up butting heads, as it were, if we cross paths while editing. All the best! Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Illithid art.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Pak2109:18, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:Masakazu Katsura.JPG. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Pak2109:18, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Tharealsplintercell.jpg

Response
Foreign song translation
3 things:
"there is no consensus at WP:ALBUMS about foreign titles, but wikipedia as a whole encourages translations to be present for anything foreign, especially if you talk about it in the article. You can use the <small>(tranlation)</small> format to keep the list from bloating. Remember to source where you got the translations from (preferably not by yourself, as that's WP:OR, Original Research. Also, don't just copy paste from the first come website, as it is usually internet mass copy crap)
The sections should be "Track listing", and not "Track Listing" or "Tracklisting".
A song name is "Between Double Quotes", not in italic.
As a final note, remember that when you write something in italic, you have to close the formating by adding '' at the end. The only reason the track lists in your articles are showing properly, is because wikipedia is error tolerant, but you should not count on that.
Sorry to sound bitchy, but if I don't do it now, somebody else along the line will probably do it even harder. Disculpame tambien no hablarte en español, pero es que aun que lo hablo bien, todavia tengo problemas escribiendo correctamente. happypal (Talk | contribs) 14:11, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

The rule you are referring to is one that I don't particularly agree with, and is just a guideline anyways. Keep in mind that some words are thrown around as a general use. When it is written "Surname", it really should have been "Abbreviation of the artist's best known name" (for example, Madonna is ALWAYS credited as Madonna on wikipedia, never as Ciconne). So in your case, yeah, go ahead and use "Vicentico".
Also, keep in mind this guideline was written for hiphop/rap type albums, which require 2-6 different artist contributions per track! (see D12 World...) In your case though, since you say "He is the vocalist", then you might be better off doing somthing like:"All songs were written by Vicentico, except where noted.", or do it in a "Personnel" section.
Sorry not to give you an absolute answer, but in the end, every article is unique, and it's up to you to find the best solution...
It depends on several factors: First of all, are we talking about a double CD album? If so, then 1 article (example: Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness). I believe that's the case([1])? If they are two different albums, then it's up to you to choose between two different articles, or a "Merged article" (for example:Music of Devil May Cry). I would go for the merged option, as it appears to me that these two albums are very linked to each other, and you would be able to create a much more interesting article then two separate articles. Also, you can talk about the DVD([2])? I'm no sure how to title such an article though. I'd go for "Hola Chau", because that's the title on the DVD. At least that's what I would do... happypal (Talk | contribs) 09:31, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
Congratulations Zidane tribal you have successfully completed Fattyjwoods' letter counting challenge. This means that you are able to display this barnstar on your userpage - but don't tell anyone else the answer!! :) Fattyjwoods(Push my button)
I was looking at your La Marcha del Golazo Solitario article, and I noticed you are using EM-dash (—) instead of EN-dash (–)(again, not to be confused with a normal dash: - ). EN-Dash is the first icon, and EM-Dash is the second, in the "Insert row" of the edit window.
I just wanted to warn you that I moved Hola/Chau (album) to Hola/Chau, as the disambiguation is un-necessary per WP:NAME. Don't be alarmed if your page isn't were you remembered it, it's just moved ;)
I corrected a few syntax problems with the small tags, and linked the article from the main Los Fabulosos Cadillacs article.
When you upload an image, first you have to describe its copy right. In this case, it's fair-use. However, this is not enough: you have to explain why that image is fair use, and on which article ("Fair use rationale for article X"). See Image:LFC-El_Leon.jpg, which someone nicely tagged for you. You can either copy past that, and change the name. That, or just paste {{album cover fur}} on the image, then, fill in the two missing blanks (see the template page for more information).
Hi. I've noticed you've been working on these, and I'm glad to see another user taking it on. There aren't enough of us out there. :) However, I wanted to point out to you in terms of the new "c" class that articles must have more than one section of prose to qualify. All the Young Dudes has only the lead section and thus can at best be a "start". --Moonriddengirl(talk)21:48, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Hi. Here's another one with only one section of prose: America's Sweetheart. It can't be the "B" class that you've assigned it. It is, at best, a "start." Please be careful when reviewing articles to make sure that they meet the assessment criteria. The assessments are beneficial in helping editors determine what articles need work, and in this case this article could probably be easily improved to at least C if contributors were made aware of where it fails to meet standards. --Moonriddengirl(talk)14:27, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Yeah I know it looks minimal but that's all the linear notes say! Lame huh? I dug some up from online searches of the british print but sucky obscuro albums like this don't give much information ever. Bah! Can it worth a b now? :) Andrzejbanas (talk) 02:52, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your uploads. You've indicated that the following images are being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why they meet Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page an image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Thanks for visiting the B for Brotherhood page and rating it. I find it hard to believe you'd rate it stub however. I've checked a lot of start class articles and they seem much less than this one. Any thoughts?--Tuzapicabit (talk) 08:12, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for the ammendment. I will be adding to the article and will try to extend the opening. It's reallly hard to find references and info on these old pop albums. How much easier people have it for today's albums!--Tuzapicabit (talk) 15:31, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

Request for feedback on moving album from stub to start class
Hi Zidane Tribal, I noticed that you've recently classified Beat Me as a stub on the quality scale. Can I ask you for feedback on if my recent changes are enough to have it moved to start class? Burgundysizzle (talk) 08:42, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. I kinda assumed it was an accident, but you never know... and I most certainly do NOT want my bot to start an edit-war ;) "Problem" resolved. Guandalug (talk) 07:21, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
This album was just released last week, so there's no post release information, etc.. Maybe I misunderstood that taking off the stub rating would immediately put it up for a more permanent rating. Is that right? How do they come up for rating? Sorry, I'm sure it was my mistake. Could you also explain the difference between a C and a B rating. Editors that work on the articles never get any feedback on how to write the articles to the standards of the rating editors. Thanks for any information. Agadant (talk) 23:36, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
I've looked at the Wikiproject Album page many times but I fail to see any outstanding issues that don't meet B criteria with this article if it had post release information. I just usually stay really busy with my Wiki time in working on articles and forget about ratings so I probably wouldn't go back and ask for a reassessment. (Just disappointed to not have more time) I noticed you put a stub template on the new Van Morrison DVD article that I just started and remembered your username from this one, that's the only reason I saw the rating. Keep it Simple from 2008 hasn't been rated yet so I was surprised to see your rating show up so quickly.
From Wikiproject albums:
A B-class article has:
All the C class criteria
A completed infobox, including cover art and most technical details
A full list of personnel, including technical personnel and guest musicians
No obvious issues with sourcing, including the use of blatantly improper sources.
No significant issues exist to hamper readability, although it may not rigorously follow WP:MOS
Most readers should feel satisfied by the content, although it may not satisfy more expert readers. There are no obvious omissions, but also :no obvious extraneous information—such as "trivia". The article flows well and logically. While a few aspects of content and style may need :to be addressed, the article overall complies with tone and content guidelines.
Per your message about the B rating: I'm pleased to see the other editor rated it a "B" and plan on doing more work on it as soon as more time permits. (Enough that hopefully even you, will think it rates a B.) If you only knew how many hours of searching I've done to gather all the information that is in it already! Thanks for being so gracious about the other editor's rating. I"m sure you realize that I didn't know that would happen. Agadant (talk) 22:34, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
Thank you very much for rating Jenny Lewis' Acid Tongue for me. I know the page has flaws and I appreciate you rating it a 'C', but could you tell me specifically what needs more work? I usually don't get involved with this aspect of Wikipedia, but I have pretty much created and edited Acid Tongue on my own and would like to make it an even better article. Thank you! BC bot notices
Hmm...I'm not a bot programmer, so I wouldn't know how to make a bot or a script that would find all the notices on article talk pages. The simplest way would be to go into the talk page edits of the BetacommandBot, but it would takes ages to go through them all manually. Somebody like Maxim or Mr.Z-man might be able to help, as they're excellent with bots and scripts, but if they can't, you can try posting at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical), for there will be someone watching that page who will know what to do. Hope this helps. Best wishes. Acalamari16:28, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Are you asking why the symbols have suddenly appeared or why I don't like them? To answer both questions, the symbols have appeared because of a recent change to {{WPBannerMeta}} which affects all project banners using that template; it's not a change I like because I find the symbols unnecessary and distracting. As to whether or not they will stay, that remains to be seen. Hope that answers your question! :) PC78 (talk) 23:14, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Personnel
Please don't just copy-paste the personnel from Allmusic, as that leaves unsavory results such as "Vocals (bckgr)". How would anyone know that bckgr is short for background? WP:ALBUMS has a manual of style which shows the proper way to list personnel. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer)00:18, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
For the second time, please quit copy-pasting the personnel from Allmusic. It violates the WP:ALBUMS manual of style and looks very ugly since the Instruments Are In Caps when they shouldn't be, and you have ugliness like "Guitar (Electric)" instead of "Electric guitar", with the occasional redundant "musician" at the end. Is there some reason you're blatantly refusing to follow my suggestion? Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer)04:43, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
It just looks neater. First of all, the instrument names are supposed to be linked, and it's much shorter to just link electric guitar than have "guitar (electric)", and much neater too don't you think? Hey Zidane, if you could give some hints about how to move this article up in status, I'd appreciate it. You rated it as C, but honestly, when I look at the Quality scale, it seems to me that it would fit in the B-category also. Could you explain why it isn't B? Thanks for looking at it in the first place, and thanks for your comments. Drmies (talk) 04:16, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for your note. I agree to some extent about that one paragraph, which sort of straddles both issues, and I'm going to do something about that. Thanks again! Drmies (talk) 13:29, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Album stubs
So 2000s album stubs used to be massively oversized (9 pages); I've cut them down to size but it's just gonna creep back. Most of the obvious sub-stub categories work (indie rock, alt rock, pop, metal, electronic, hip hop, folk, etc.). Just letting you know. 98.26.168.111 (talk) 20:51, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
WP:Hornbook -- a new law-related task force for the J.D. curriculum
Over the course of a semester, each subpage will shift its focus to track the unfolding curriculum(s) for classes using that casebook around the country.
It will also feature an extensive, hyperlinked "index" or "outline" to that casebook, pointing to pages, headers, or {{anchors}} in Wikipedia (example).
Individual law schools can freely adapt our casebook outlines to the idiosyncratic curriculum devised by each individual professor.
I'm encouraging law students around the country to create local chapters of the club I'm starting at my own law school, "Student WP:Hornbook Editors". Using WP:Hornbook as our headquarters, we're hoping to create a study group so inclusive that nobody will dare not join.
I know about the edit counters and I don't know why they have failed. If you go onto the Luxo contributions it gives you all the edits for all the other Wikimania sites just not English Wikipedia. They have been down for about a week now I would say.
It will be fixed soon enough then. DAFMM (talk), 6th August 2009.

Hi - thanks for helping with the FTB album Challenge (album).. The FTB states (without citation) and two vocalists; male singer Chiba Hiroshi, and female singer Remi Aso. .. This article doesnt appear for some reason. May be my computer or the website, but it looks blank, although it does acknowledge the article size. U mind checkin it out?
Well like I said in my 'rant', I followed the trail up to the Music Project because the Peter Saville article has a category 'Album-cover and concert-poster artists'. In turn the Music project states this: 'Assessments are done by individual music projects, such as Albums, Classical music, Composers etc., not by this Music Project, which is an umbrella project.' Since I doubt Peter Saville is either a Classical musician nor a Composer and he does not play Pipe organ, that's that. So much for trying... --Alainr345 (talk) 07:56, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Since I Left You
Hi Zidane tribal, thanks for reviewing the Since I Left You article. Mind telling me what's missing from it to boost it to a B-class? Was it because the style section was so minimal? I'll expand it before i submit the article for a GA-status review. Cheers. Andrzejbanas (talk) 13:40, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

Personnel section in The Ballroom Blitz & More Sweet Hits
I noticed that you recently added a Personnel section to The Ballroom Blitz & More Sweet Hits album by Sweet. That's of course alright with me, except that you have added the bleak 1998 lineup and not the "classic" lineup from the 1970's where the original versions of these songs were recorded and released. Does this mean that the songs on this record are re-recordings from 1998? I don't own this album myself, but I would guess that it is a mistake as I don't think the 1998 lineup ever re-recorded the 1970's hits. Cheers. – IbLeo (talk) 08:04, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
I totally agree with you, is always a problem with compilation albums, just like you said i added the members that coincided with the release year, and i stopped to think about the fact that this were past songs but since there have been various line-ups i figured that...well, nevermind. Hehe, thanks! Too bad no official reviews exist on the entire internet. Oh, what kinda categories would you suggest for the articles? I'm looking through other popular album articles and can't seem to find any viable ones. :( --Prosperosity (talk) 02:08, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
An article about a musical recording that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, nor does it cite any sources, nor provide any evidence of notability in accordance with Wikipedia:Notability (music)
You said the three articles I submitted for assessment lacked authorship, not sure what you meant. Do you mind telling me about that in more detail so I don't have problems with it in the future? It'd be much appreciated. WikiGuy86 (talk) 09:04, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
Tried to add a little more to the personnel section of the Dead Serious album, couldn't really find much. I think a lot of older hip hop albums were missing some of that information for unknown reasons. Might try to work further on the article later. WikiGuy86 (talk) 02:09, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
Hey! Sorry for the tardy reply, but I finally got around to transcribing the personnel for the album. Thanks in advance! :) Fixer23 (talk) 23:48, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
Okay, thank you! Sorry, I didn't realise you only did albums. The musicians are like that in Coquillage since the liner notes just listed them like that in a massive blob. Unless I like...contact her personally or something crazy and she's feeling particularly bored, I don't think I'd get to find out who played what. --Prosperosity (talk) 00:38, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
