Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited World and Paralympic records set at the 2024 Summer Paralympics, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ABC News. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Restroing

[edit]

Hi, I have restored the Chalukya dynasty page to a stable version, which was vandalized by anonymous users in a featured article who are trying to push their caste into it, Thank you Karnandus (talk) 10:24, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Previous accounts

[edit]

Have you edited Wikipedia before using this account? It's quite unusual to be familiar with these obscure shortcuts four days after creating it. C F A 💬 18:40, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No. (well, technically yes, because I've edited on this account.) For that edit, I thought that second person pronouns and slashes probably won't be allowed on Wikipedia, so I just found the MoS and find the sections to cite. Replicative Cloverleaf (talk) 18:44, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thanks. C F A 💬 18:48, 29 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I restored (although didn't use the word "balls") the edit you reverted without a reason. While not using a reason is okay when dealing with obvious vandalism, make sure that the edits are indeed bad faith and vandalism. Regards, win8x (talking | spying) 02:04, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks. I really didn't expect having that in a cover so I assumed that it was vandalism (which is not a good idea). Sorry. Replicative Cloverleaf (talk) 16:18, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What have you done with my first edit?(to an article)

[edit]

Cloverleaf, I have no explain but to said: what you have removed was my first edit in English Wikipedia. 2012An(4thwm1) (talk) 02:08, 12 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@2012An(4thwm1): What do you mean? If I'm not mistaken, your first edit on the English Wikipedia is to your sandbox, which I have not edited on. Have you asked the wrong editor? Replicative Cloverleaf (talk) 14:45, 12 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The article Friday the 13th's calender change is my first edit, why do you remove it? 2012An(4thwm1) (talk) 02:44, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh. See this discussion for more information. In short, it's because of:
  1. The {{countdown}} template isn't supposed to be used in an article.
  2. It only works for one timezone, the UTC. (making it work would require a rework of the aforementioned template)
  3. The countdown needs to be manually updated.
And then I boldly removed the entire countdown. So I didn't actually reverted the countdown's date back to September 2024, but instead I removed the countdown. Replicative Cloverleaf (talk) 09:09, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! (I also do activities in DeviantArt) 2012An(4thwm1) (talk) 09:54, 13 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:55, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Bourbon Street: Revision history

[edit]

"11:49, 1 January 2025 Replicative Cloverleaf talk contribs 24,326 bytes +372 The incident can be a paragraph in the history section, no need to be its own section"

If you think about it a little more you will maybe understand that such a position is not totally correct and, moreover, it is even concerning. Just it was deep night here and I only suggested a section header, but when people are apparently mass slaughtered it does need its own section at least. The same reason why the war is going on in Gaza btw. the silent alignment with the perpetrators (in my opinion). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.145.32.128 (talk) 02:31, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You are not wrong, at the time the media coverage is like "something happened" but nothing else, so (at least retrospectively) that edit is kind of too early. But Southport didn't get a section for 2024 Southport stabbing, just a paragraph in its history section (not even a subsection), so I'm just applying this logic. Replicative Cloverleaf (talk) 10:39, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The information by the time of the edit was that the guy drove into the crowd, at least 15 people dead and then he got out of the vehicle and engaged in shootout with police wounding two officers who are recovering. It is better of course that such things wouldn't happen in the first place, so such edits wouldn't be there too. My best guess in this particular case this particular religion by having extremist offshoots provides pretext to perverts, but then we have other onslaughts going on run on the state level for ridiculous reasons and better a line should be drawn instead of getting used to this. ISIS beheadings in 2015 would cause probably less shock in 2025. 49.145.32.128 (talk) 04:37, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Kwek Leng Joo

[edit]

On 20 March 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Kwek Leng Joo, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Kwek Leng Joo co-created an exhibition combining modern photography and traditional Chinese painting? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Kwek Leng Joo. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Kwek Leng Joo), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

DYK for Louisiana Mayor's Courts

[edit]

I apologize: You performed a DYK review of Louisiana Mayor's Courts and I pinged one editor and missed pinging you. I performed some tweaking, that I think addressed the review concerns. Since you initially looked at it I would like your opinion. I have much more to add, but real-world circumstances have become a hinderance. -- Otr500 (talk) 16:57, 22 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
