Please stop. This is disruptive and creates a vector for widespread vandalism. Izno (talk) 18:34, 19 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Sad to see you go

[edit]

Hi @RemoveRedSky I'm sad that you decided to retire, I always chuckled when you reverted before me. I hope you'll one day decide to come back but goodbye until then ;) Squawk7700 (talk) 22:50, 21 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Get ready to submit your candidacy, or (with their consent) to nominate a talented candidate!

Southgate-Lewis House

[edit]

Hi RemoveRedSky!

Thank you for your over 4000 contributions to Wikipedia. I was assigned to help edit the Southgate-Lewis House as a new user. I was looking through the edit history (like I do a lot, really no reason) and I noticed that you had taken out a part of the article (it is bolded below) that I think would be good to keep. It was,

“The Southgate–Lewis House was constructed by the builder Robert C. Lambie in 1888, as the residence for the publisher and bookbinder John Southgate, whose business was located on Congress Avenue, next door to the Lundberg Bakery. In its area it is notable for its period, scale, and complexity. Its restored late Its restored late Victorian house styleis unique among local simple vernacular buildings.”

I believe it could be useful in the article to explain why the house was built. Did you remove this for a more specific reason?

Best regards, Markalexander47 (talk) 01:21, 17 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It's been a while since I've edited.. I believe at the very least the business part (if it was referring to HIS business and not where the house was built nearby) was irrelevant to the situation but the other information should be okay to add. I'm not entirely sure why I deleted who it was made for though ;-; / RemoveRedSky [talk] 01:36, 17 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the help. I was just confirming if you meant to delete the part for a reason or not. I was gonna restore it I just wanted to make sure with you.
Best regards, Markalexander47 (talk) 03:44, 17 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I've re read and found that you most likely deleted the part because there is already a different part that states the same thing elsewhere in the article. Thanks for your answer, again. Markalexander47 (talk) 03:47, 17 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
