Question from Prinzo Digital Press PDP on User:Prinzopress (01:21, 29 April 2025)
Hello How do I create prinzopress user page --Prinzo Digital Press PDP (talk) 01:21, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Prinzo Digital Press PDP: You don't. Wikipedia is not a place to promote your company, and per our username policy, an account used to represent a company as opposed to an individual is not permitted. --Hammersoft (talk) 01:23, 29 April 2025 (UTC)

Week 7/ Nz25
1.Article: Renewable energy
Diff: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Renewable_energy&diff=1287389077&oldid=1287355078
2. Article: 3D printing
Diff: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=3D_printing&diff=1287396288&oldid=1286593916
Through these edits, I learned how renewable energy is not just about producing electricity, but also about supporting real-world needs like heating and industry. I also discovered how 3D printing is making it easier for everyday people and small groups to bring their ideas to life without needing big factories or expensive tools. Nz25 (talk) 23:58, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Nz25 Your first edit is fine, though the text you added is a bit long. Your second edit was reverted. See the feedback from that editor and either make an additional edit with citation of something that adds to what is already there, or assign yourself a new article and edit it. Reply here when finished and I will review. FULBERT (talk) 14:53, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- I assigned myself a different article Professor.
- Article: Rainwater harvesting

Final Reflection/ Kl5528
Overall, the experience of editing articles on Wikipedia was both challenging and rewarding. It took more effort than I originally expected, and it made me appreciate the people who have contributed to the platform. Through this experience, it reminds me that fact checking is crucial even in daily life, sometimes things that are widely accepted can still be false. I would consider continuing to edit in the future because it’s meaningful and feels good to help provide reliable information. Kl5528 (talk) 01:10, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Kl5528 Nice edits overall, and thanks for the overall feedback on this. I hope you find Wikipedia editing useful and continue with it. Let me know if you ever need assistance with Wikipedia in the future, and I hope you continue making positive and helpful contributions! Current with the Bonus week. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Battle_of_Blair_Mountain&diff=prev&oldid=1287562435
This week, I learned how to find images from reliable sources, which helped me better understand how to ensure accuracy and credibility when contributing visual content to Wikipedia. Rx2306 (talk) 01:44, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Rx2306 Nice edits. Current with Week 7. FULBERT (talk) 19:27, 30 April 2025 (UTC)
Final Reflection/ Rx2306
Overall, my experience with this Wikipedia extra credit assignment was engaging and insightful. I learned valuable editing skills, such as how to carefully select reliable sources, incorporate timely updates, and respond effectively to previous editors' feedback. This activity has also enhanced my appreciation for Wikipedia’s standards of neutrality and accuracy. While I found editing rewarding, I may not continue editing regularly due to time constraints, but I definitely intend to contribute occasionally, especially to niche topics or time-sensitive articles. Rx2306 (talk) 01:48, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Rx2306 Nice edits overall during the course and thank you for the feedback on this. I hope you find Wikipedia editing useful and continue with it, time permitting. Let me know if you ever need assistance with Wikipedia in the future, and I hope you continue making positive and helpful contributions! Current with the Bonus week. Week 7 / Ss18625
Hello Professor,
1. Link to the articles: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physical_and_logical_qubits https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renewable_energy_in_the_United_States
2. Link to the diff: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Physical_and_logical_qubits&diff=1287393544&oldid=1269543000 https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Renewable_energy_in_the_United_States&diff=1287394919&oldid=1280840920
3. What I learned in the process: While updating both the articles, I deepened my understanding of how recent scientific advances like developments in quantum computing hardware and the measurable benefits of renewable energy can enhance public knowledge when presented in a clear way. Ss18625 (talk) 00:25, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Ss18625 Your first edit was overly complicated and should be simplified as Wikipedia is an encyclopedia WP:ENC. Also, new information does not fit into the lead per WP:LEAD, which states that the top, or lead, of an article should identify the topic, establish context, explain why the topic is notable, and summarize the most important points of the article, without including new information that is not covered in the remainder of the article. Please move your edit and simplify it and then ping me here. FULBERT (talk) 15:01, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- Updated the article as per suggestion.

Hi Professor. There are two articles I edited this week.
1. Zongzi

2. Laba garlic

They are two special foods I really like—yellow millet zongzi and Laba garlic. Both are full of flavor and reflect the distinctive food culture of Shanxi.

B)This week, I learned how to add an image to a Wikipedia article for the first time. Through the process, I gained a better understanding of licensing requirements and realized how important it is to be careful and respectful of intellectual property rights when uploading media. Final Reflection / Burrrrata
Editing articles on Wikipedia was a really fun experience, especially since I focused mostly on sports topics I’m passionate about. I’ve been using Wikipedia for as long as I can remember, so it was cool to finally see how much work and how many people contribute behind the scenes. I learned a lot about making proper edits, adding images, and being careful with citation. I’d like to keep editing now and then, especially when I spot something in sports that I can help improve. Burrrrata (talk) 04:00, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Burrrrata Nice edits on these articles that seem related to your interests. I hope you find Wikipedia editing useful and continue with it. Speedy deletion declined: Escape the Fate (2005 EP)
Hello FULBERT. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Escape the Fate (2005 EP), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A page consisting only of an infobox is not elegible for A3. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 13:17, 2 May 2025 (UTC)

Question from Thegyattler on Aidah Bukubuza (13:35, 1 May 2025)
Hello, how should I help improve this page? --Thegyattler (talk) 13:35, 1 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Thegyattler Based on the notes the other editor left, it seems that there is concern about notability. When working on an article about a person WP:BLP, all information should be presented using a Neutral Point of View WP:NPOV, include information that is Verifiable WP:V, and not contain any Original Research WP:NOR. Please remember to cite Reliable WP:RELIABLE sources to demonstrate Notability WP:N in general and specific Notability in People WP:BIO. To this, I would suggest providing more information that demonstrates this person is of note and should have an encyclopedia article about. I hope this helps. FULBERT (talk) 15:31, 2 May 2025 (UTC)

Update: New Event-Organizer Tools for You on English Wikipedia!
Hello,
I hope you're doing well! As an event coordinator on English Wikipedia, I’m happy to share some news with you. You now have the event-organizer right! This gives you access to the CampaignEvents extension, a powerful set of tools to help you organize and promote events and WikiProjects more easily. With the CampaignEvents extension, you can:
- Manage event registration directly on English Wikipedia.
- Use the Invitation List tool to find potential participants for your events/WikiProjects
- Receive automatic promotion of your events via the Collaboration List
Learn more on mw:Help:Extension:CampaignEvents
Now that I have your attention, I’d also like to share some updates to the extension:
- The Collaboration List can now be transcluded, meaning you can easily embed it on other wiki pages to share event details with more people by adding {{Special:AllEvents}}. Learn more.
- Admins can now determine which namespaces are permitted for Event Registration on English Wikipedia, via Special:CommunityConfiguration. Right now, the Event namespace is permitted by default for Event Registration. However, other namespaces (such as Wikipedia, WikiProject, etc) can now be added as permitted namespaces by admins too. This can help other types of organized activities, such as WikiProjects, use Event Registration. For details, please visit: Permitted_namespaces
If you need help using these new tools, I’m here to support you. Feel free to reach out for guidance. You can also find some useful video guides on Commons.
We’re excited to see how you use these tools for WikiProjects or events! If you have any questions, please let me know.

Question from DoodleDew155 (20:48, 5 May 2025)
Yes hello, I wanted to ask you something. I am not quite sure what you being my mentor means, i dont know if you can view every edit I make. (Well, pretty sure everyone can, but I’m not sure if you get a notification or something). I wanted to ask you about the article I recently edited, about the Washboard Rhythm Kings. As you might see, there isn’t any source listed. But I am quite sure of it. I know that there is atleast a youtube video showcasing Off samples Pepper Steak, but I’m not sure if thats enough.
Kind regards, DoodleDew155
PS, if I made any spelling mistakes or my sentences feel a but OFF (haha get it), then please let me know. I’m dutch and English is my second language --DoodleDew155 (talk) 20:48, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
- @DoodleDew155 Welcome to Wikipedia. As a mentor, I am here to help you with any questions you may have about learning to edit Wikipedia. Given your question, you linked to another article, which is called a wikilink and is helpful. However, it may be helpful if you can provide a citation to substantiate your claim. Always use a reliable source, such as an academic journal article or another high-quality reference. Avoid blogs, corporate websites, reviews, press releases, sources where we cannot determine author expertise or bias, and opinion pieces, as they generally do not count as reliable sources. Additional guidance related to frequently discussed sources WP:RSP may be useful. Is there a source you can cite? FULBERT (talk) 15:30, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hello Again Fulbert.
- I do think I have found a website. https://www.whosampled.com/sample/498707/Alias-Conrad-Coldwood-Pepper-Steak-Washboard-Rhythm-Kings-Pepper-Steak/, whosampled is a website dedicated to finding the samples of songs. I often visit it out of curiosity or because I want to use to sample from a song as well, so I would say its a trusted website. Although I’m not sure if you would classify this as a “Corporate Website”, I personally wouldn’t. Seeing as everything is written in a neutral point of few.
- Ta-ta for now! DoodleDew155 DoodleDew155 (talk) 15:43, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
- @DoodleDew155 I ordinarily would not count something like a website as a reliable, third-party WP:INDEPENDENT published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy WP:RELIABLE. However, others who know about the topic itself may count it as one. Make the edit and cite the exact url in your citation and let's see what other editors think of it. Hello! You may delete Draft:Birthe Olufsdatter now. Best greetings--Aciram (talk) 14:27, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- @Aciram You added solid citations to it, and it should be moved back into article space. FULBERT (talk) 14:40, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
