Helen Ennis
Thank you for reviewing Helen Ennis. Fixed, I hope by removing direct quotes? Jamesmcardle (talk) 21:34, 20 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Jamesmcardle A lot of this article seems to have the same information on this webpage per the overlap listed here. FULBERT (talk) 23:47, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
- Yes FULBERT, You are right, and that's because I am the sole author of that blog, written contemporaneously with the Wiki article and published almost simultaneously, and it has had the grand total of 12 views. As I put together the blog article I placed this notice at the end "Read more about Helen Ennis in the Wikipedia entry written by James McArdle" Jamesmcardle (talk) 01:14, 22 April 2025 (UTC)

Question from Bharnav2009 (17:20, 22 April 2025)
Hello FULBERT
I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to bring to your attention an issue I've encountered with my Wikipedia edits. Someone has repeatedly changed my edits, even though I believe the information I added is accurate and verifiable. I've tried explaining this, but the changes are still being made.
I would appreciate your guidance on how to address this situation. Thank you for your support, and I look forward to hearing from you. --Bharnav2009 (talk) 17:20, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Bharnav2009 Can you please give me a link or two to examples of this? FULBERT (talk) 19:17, 22 April 2025 (UTC)

- @Fahim Abrar Abid Please send me the link to this article you drafted, whether it is in your sandbox or in a draft space. I can't really do anything with this in a copies and pasted form. FULBERT (talk) 23:50, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
- I am sorry. Here is my sandbox link: User:Fahim Abrar Abid/sandbox
- I thought others cannot access my sandbox link. On that note, I also want to write a bio for me. How do I write a new one after my professors' one? Shall i delete that from my sandbox and write a new one for me? Fahim Abrar Abid (talk) 23:53, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
- I wanted to upload a picture but its showing error, need your help with that as well Fahim Abrar Abid (talk) 23:59, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Fahim Abrar Abid Sandboxes are public as well, so something to keep in mind. I see you also have this article you are drafting on your own user page, and you may want to remove it from there as it belongs in the sandbox where you have it. When working on an article about a person WP:BLP, all information should be presented using a Neutral Point of View WP:NPOV, include information that is Verifiable WP:V, and not contain any Original Research WP:NOR. Please remember to cite Reliable WP:RELIABLE sources to demonstrate Notability WP:N in general and specific Notability in People WP:BIO. Given this, you have not yet demonstrated notability for this individual, so review these links for specifics about how to demonstrate this for academics. Then, review the guidance on writing new articles WP:YFA which I also linked to on your Talk page. This will include specifics on how to format and organize the article, which should be done while in your sandbox before publishing it. Let me know if these next steps help.
- It would be considered a conflict of interest per WP:COI to write an article about yourself, so I would encourage you to avoid doing that. FULBERT (talk) 00:09, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Fahim Abrar Abid Please send me the link to this article you drafted, whether it is in your sandbox or in a draft space. I can't really do anything with this in a copies and pasted form. FULBERT (talk) 23:50, 23 April 2025 (UTC)

Question from Daft Elephant (15:34, 23 April 2025)
Hi FULBERT!
I'm wondering if you can help me with a question.
My article has been recommended for deletion, but, as far as I can see, no reason has been provided. Is this normal?
I'm confident that the article, whilst short, meets all of Wikipedia's guidelines.
The article covers a controversial subject, so I'm aware of the potential for people to abuse the system, which may be what's happened here.
I'd really appreciate your help.
Many thanks! --Daft Elephant (talk) 15:34, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Daft Elephant Usually when an article is nominated for deletion, there is a reason provided and often an opportunity to dispute it or fix things. Can you share a link to it? FULBERT (talk) 23:26, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
- @FULBERT Many thanks for this! The editor has now added reasons, however they are all incorrect so I have provided a rebuttal.
- I do have one further question, if you'd be able to help? One of the reasons the editor in question provided is unequivocally libellous. They falsely claimed, without evidence, that I was part of some kind of clandestine, co-ordinated attempt to push the agenda on social media! The fact that I am not active on the platform in question, and the fact that, even if I were, I wouldn't use it to promote my article, did not seem to factor in to their rationale. How would you suggest dealing with this? Should I contact the Wikipedia admins? If so, do you know the best way to do this?
- Here is a link to the article: Femosphere
- Thanks again! Daft Elephant (talk) 17:31, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
- @FULBERT
- I'd really appreciate if you could let me know if I've used the Admin help function correctly here: User talk:Daft Elephant
- Many thanks! Daft Elephant (talk) 14:26, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Daft Elephant I am not sure if you used the Admin help feature, but I did review what you shared and how there is a single-use account created to request deletion of the article you created. While some of the citations you used were not high level enough to necessarily be credible, there are several that are. I pinged 3 wikiprojects that I thought would include people qualified in the topic to comment on it, and I see several have done so. Nice work on a first article. FULBERT (talk) 21:59, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- @FULBERT Thanks very much for this - much appreciated! Daft Elephant (talk) 12:32, 26 April 2025 (UTC)

Adding Images to info box
I am trying to figure out the process of adding an image to the article of living persons if there is not one of them.
I have an image of the living person from her instagram and cant determine if this would be considered fair use for her article. I am also trying to confirm that it should be uploaded in the commons area first?
Thank you,Lovie2-2000 (talk) 20:49, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Lovie2-2000 Welcome to Wikipedia! If you own the copyright of a photo, which would not be the case with something you see online or on social media, then you would first upload it to Wikimedia Commons and then link it to the Wikipedia article you hope to edit. You may find this tutorial of help. FULBERT (talk) 14:45, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
Final Reflection / RyanL88
Through this Wikipedia assignment, I took the chance to explore many cultural topics I’m interested in but never really looked into deeply before. I learned a lot—not just facts, but also the cultural context behind everyday things like food and traditions. It felt genuinely rewarding to share something meaningful and personal by contributing edits to public articles. I plan to continue editing from time to time whenever I find something I love and want to share.
RyanL88 (talk) 00:58, 25 April 2025 (UTC)
- @RyanL88 Thanks for the overall feedback on this. I hope you find Wikipedia editing useful and continue with it. Let me know if you ever need assistance with Wikipedia in the future, and I hope you continue making positive and helpful contributions! Current with the Bonus. FULBERT (talk) 14:48, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
Final Reflection/ Nz25
I really enjoyed doing this extra credit assignment because it gave me a chance to explore topics I might not have looked into otherwise. I spent a lot of time reading and learning, especially about artificial intelligence and nanotechnology, and found some really fascinating journal articles. It was exciting to take that research and use it to improve Wikipedia articles that people actually read every day. I learned how to write in a clearer, more neutral way and how to spot areas where reliable information was missing. I definitely plan to keep editing from time to time whenever I find a topic I care about and feel I can add something useful.
Nz25 (talk) 00:22, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Nz25 Nice editing across this experience, and thanks for sharing your overall feedback on this. I hope you find Wikipedia editing useful and continue with it. Final Reflection / Ss18625
Hello Professor,
Over the past 7 weeks, working on the Wikipedia extra credit assignments has been a really interesting experience. It gave me a better understanding of how Wikipedia is maintained and how important it is to use reliable, latest sources when making edits. I learned how to present complex information in a way that fits Wikipedia’s style. I may not edit regularly moving forward, but I now feel more confident contributing when I come across topics where I can add meaningful updates. Ss18625 (talk) 00:32, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Ss18625 Nice edits overall and thanks for sharing your reflection. I hope you find Wikipedia editing useful and continue with it.
