Information icon Hello, I'm LaffyTaffer. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Jenny Hagel, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! LaffyTaffer (talk) 20:56, 26 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey LaffyTaffer, sorry, this is my first time editing on Wikipedia. I decided to make changes about Jenny Hagel's birthday and marriage status because I knew them to be incorrect. I don't have any proof about her birthday because it was something I heard live so I suppose I can't make that edit. In terms of her marriage status, I got that information from the social media of her ex wife. Hagel has also said in an interview with Variety that she has been through a divorce: https://variety.com/2024/legit/actors/jenny-hagel-gives-advice-1235888007/#:~:text=Not%20to%20brag%2C%20but%20I%E2%80%99ve%20been%20through%20a%20divorce%2C%20so%20I%20can%20talk%20about%20that%20experience.%20I%E2%80%99ve%20moved%20all%20over%20America%20and%20know%20about%20fitting%20in%20and%20finding%20your%20spot%20in%20a%20community.%20Things%20like%20that.%20But%20this%20is%20why%20I%20like%20bringing%20out%20a%20real%20therapist%20at%20the%20end.
All good if that's not enough evidence for a reliable source. Sorry again about that! Coffeecake232 (talk) 21:06, 26 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Coffeecake232 If the social media post from her ex wife is public, it might be acceptable to use as a source for both articles(I'm not 100% sure since it's still a primary source, though those can be used sometimes). I don't think I'd accept that Variety article though because Vanasco isn't mentioned, just that she's been divorced.
If you end up using the social media post or finding another source confirming their divorce though, please take a look at WP:CITE for how to include it as an inline citation (don't just put a link in the edit summary, which is a common mistake new editors make). Thanks, and happy editing :) LaffyTaffer (talk) 21:12, 26 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
