List of sitting judges of the Supreme Court of India

Hi Aruunn! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Dear Hemant i am just trying to keep consistency in wikipedia articles related to Indian judiciary. As other articles like List of former chief justices of the high courts of India, List of chief justices of India, List of sitting judges of the high courts of India, and List of current Indian chief justices mentions full name of the office holders that's why i was trying to write full names and further regarding titles of previous offices i followed the pattern of official website of department of justice India where the current chief justices of High courts are mentioned as CJ of "name of the high court" without using the word High court

For e.g. Chief Justice of the Allahabad High court is mentioned as CJ of Allahabad in the list of judges transferred from the parent high court

Thus to bring consistency and uniformity in all articles and following similar pattern as of official govt. Website I have written full names of office holders and abbreviations for previous offices Aruunn (talk) 10:12, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

make a note permitting reuse under the CC BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. But this image is taken from the website of uttarakhand High court which is public website and it's content are free to use by anyone without malicious intent. This image is taken from the said website in a way similar to the images taken from official website of supreme court of India. Thus, if images can be taken from official website of the supreme court of India which are free to use then images can also be taken from official website of other high court in India also because they are also public website and their content is widely used in wikipedia articles Aruunn (talk) 10:02, 4 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
