Possible cosmetic edits?

Hey @Aadirulez8,

I have seen you are doing a lot of WP cleaner edits fixing CW errors. I had come across an edit of yours fixing the error Link equal to linktext. If I am not wrong, that edit counts as WP:COSMETICBOT. Based on current consensus, such cosmetic edits should not be done alone, even by a bot. Hi Pranav,

I've been focusing on Error No. 64 specifically, as it's quite prevalent. These edits generally fall under single-error fixes, mostly cosmetic in nature. Since these errors are straightforward to autofix, I’m handling them in bulk.

I’ll also check if I can group more autofixable errors to streamline the edit list and make it less cluttered.

I understand that, but per consensus one should not just fix that error in a single edit (as it cosmetic). One suggestion from my end is make your lists using other errors, WPCleaner will automatically fix 64 error as well if it is found. Despite it being prevalent, it is not useful to the project apart from wikicode readability, which is not a priority. ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 03:45, 4 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
