Civil War
[edit]- A defeated army can linger on for a while before disbanding
- An infobox is a kind of summary of the article. To introduce new combatants without ever mentioning them in the plain text is not correct.

[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Russian Civil War, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Remsense聊 19:43, 1 November 2023 (UTC)

Hello, I'm The Banner. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Allied intervention in the Russian Civil War, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. The Banner talk 19:46, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
Use of multiple accounts
[edit]Hi, Ömereditss. My name is Tamzin, and one thing I do here on Wikipedia is deal with potential misuse of multiple accounts. I see that you have acknowledged at least three other accounts: LGT55, BEFOR01, and Ömerfrk4334. Before you make any further edits to Wikipedia, could you please come to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/LGT55 § 20 February 2025, and in the section "Comments by other users" explain why you have used so many accounts accounts to edit Wikipedia and whether you have any other accounts? Thank you. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 02:46, 22 February 2025 (UTC)

Reviewing drafts
[edit]I see that you moved the page Draft:Temryuk campaign in Ingushetia to Temryuk campaign in Ingushetia, but I'm afraid there were several problems with that move. Accepting a draft and making it into an article involves more than just moving the page; it is necessary to make various updates, such as dealing with any Article for Creation templates in the draft. Also, it is at best questionable whether the draft was ready to become an article, as much of it was written in very poor English, and there were dubious elements in the text, such as "In 1557, Kabarda voluntarily became a Russian citizen", which makes no sense, as Kabarda was a place, not a person. Please don't review draft articles unless and until you have much more experience, and when that happens please apply to become an AfC reviewer, rather than just moving drafts. [edit] Hello, I'm Jolielover. I noticed that you recently removed content from Battle of Kozludzha (1828) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. jolielover♥talk 08:27, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Jolielover I was going to delete the article Ömereditss (talk) 08:35, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, I don't oppose a deletion since the notability of the event is questionable and the creator was blocked for being a LTA. But you blanked it hours ago (and anyway, if you want to tag it for deletion, there's no point blanking it unless the page contains something egregious like personal info). jolielover♥talk 08:38, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Jolielover If you tell me the delete command I won't do it again Ömereditss (talk) 08:43, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Jolielover: What you're missing here is that the article's author was an older account of Ömereditss (not an LTA). Ömereditss, normally if someone blanks an article they wrote, an editor will then tag it for deletion, but here that wasn't obvious to Jolielover since it's a different username. In the future, if you write an article and then want it deleted, and no one else has made significant edits, you can just add the code {{db-g7}} at the top of the page. See CSD G7 for more information on that rule. There are similar templates for other situations, e.g. {{db-g3}} for a page that is vandalism. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|🤷) 08:47, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
- Ah, yeah I didn't catch that they're the same person. Apologies for that. jolielover♥talk 08:49, 8 March 2025 (UTC)

The page Wars of Catherine The Great has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it was a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion review. Siege of Silistra (1829) moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Siege of Silistra (1829). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 18:07, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
