I've been informally contributing for a while, but I decided to join WikiProject Aviation and see what I can add to it. I am a (non-current) commercial and multi-engine rated pilot with instrument rating, and an all-around aviation history buff.

I also have some professional expertise in computer networking, so I may be fiddling around in that department from time to time.

Aviation WikiProject announcements and open tasks
We encourage all members of Wikipedia:WikiProject Aviation to use the translation feature more often. There are many articles that can be created or expanded via translation. The Soviet Aviation Task force needs articles translated into English! Please feel free to join!
