Nicholas Aaron Steinberger (born July 18, 2005, in West Frankfort, Illinois)[1] is an American actor, podcaster, marketing director, and mascot performer. He is known for his work with McLeod Summer Playhouse, his role as Marketing Director and ensemble cast member in the world premiere of Standard Issue, and for hosting the podcast Anything and Everything with Nick Steinberger.[2] He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Theater at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Early Life and Education
[edit]Steinberger was born and raised in West Frankfort, a former coal town in Southern Illinois. He developed an early love for the outdoors and performance. He began acting in school plays and was cast in Gypsy at McLeod Summer Playhouse[3] following eighth grade. He graduated from Frankfort Community High School in 2023, where he appeared in 12 theatrical productions during his senior year. He currently attends Southern Illinois University Carbondale, studying Theater and receiving training in voice, dance, and acting for stage.[1]

In 2025, Steinberger performed dual roles in Standard Issue, an original musical by Hank and Deanna Deiters exploring a soldier's journey through military service. In addition to performing in the ensemble, Steinberger served as the production's Marketing Director, coordinating press interviews, social media strategy, and promotional outreach. Standard Issue was produced by Vets in the Arts.[6]
Podcasting
[edit]Since 2023, Steinberger has hosted Anything and Everything with Nick Steinberger,[2] a self-produced podcast available on YouTube. The show features weekly episodes covering a range of cultural and lifestyle topics with occasional guest interviews.[7]
