Edit request from 22 July 2023 did not get proper consensus, and requester did not know what they were doing. A recent discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Tree_of_Life/Archive_66#"Domain"_rank_to_be_always_displayed_in_taxoboxes:_request_for_consensus did not attract many commenters, but there was little enthusiasm for displaying domain Eukaryota for animals and fungi. I've set up a series of alternative taxonomy templates with Template:Taxonomy/Amorphea/showdomain at the top and Template:Taxonomy/Holomycota/showdomain and Template:Taxonomy/Choanozoa/showdomain at the bottom to allow Eukaryota to be displayed for non-animals/fungi. This is the most sensible decision for now. Not only was there no enthusiasm for displaying Eukaryota from animal/fungus-dwelling editors, but it was also mentioned in that discussion that I was the one that requested displaying Eukaryota for animals and fungi (accidentally), without consensus.
