Overall: This article was significantly expanded recently, and is a nominee for good article status. While ALT 1 does not seem to contain the information in the source that the author says, the original hook is completely viable. The hook is interesting, and everything checks out. Overall, good stuff. TarheelBornBred (talk) 11:06, 9 April 2025 (UTC)

  • @TarheelBornBred: I'm sorry but ALT1 does contain the information? Arconning (talk) 23:01, 9 April 2025 (UTC)
    • @Arconning: The source says nothing about whether Sydney Francisco has had family in the Olympic Games before. On another note, I did accidentally cross out the usable hook and not the unusable one. Sorry if that caused confusion. TarheelBornBred (talk) 00:34, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
      • @TarheelBornBred: But it does? "Her mother, Peoria Koshiba, a 100m sprinter, represented Palau in the nation's Olympic debut" I'm quite confused still. The second source states it. Arconning (talk) 04:12, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
        • @Arconning: Sorry, but somehow I completely missed the second source given for ALT 1. You're definitely right, the information is there. My mistake. Either hook works. Again, so sorry, just a big gaffe on my part. TarheelBornBred (talk) 14:00, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
