I would like the status removed. I'm not interested in doing more research per article than I thought I had to for promoting preps to queues. For example, "... that Sacred Heart Church was the birthplace of the orphanage which would become the only pontifical university in the United States?" on the main page. Pontifical College Josephinum says, "The college was granted the status of a Pontifical College in 1892 by Pope Leo XIII, making it the only pontifical seminary in North America." which I thought meant what the hook says...until the post on the errors page. I don't know squat about religion because I'm not interested in the topic, and the seminary article starts with "A seminary, school of theology, theological college, or divinity school is an educational institution for educating students (sometimes called seminarians) in scripture and theology, generally to prepare them for ordination to serve as clergy, in academics, or mostly in Christian ministry." Sounds similar to me. SL93 (talk) 20:33, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm. I could certainly remove the right, but may I suggest sleeping on it and if you come back tomorrow and that's still what you want, I'll be happy to do it. I think something was just in the water today at WP:ERRORS and people got all crazy. RoySmith (talk) 21:04, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I will think about it more. I could just be even more extra careful with religion and sports hooks. They have never been my thing. SL93 (talk) 21:07, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
My core checklist is that the hook fact appears in the article and there's no copyvios. Beyond that, I'll take a closer look at the sourcing for BLP and some other weird things, if anything else jumps out at me, I might chase that down. But honestly, I think SchroCat was being a bit silly on the WP:SEASONS thing, I'm sure I wouldn't have caught any of the minor formatting errors, and I'd probably not have caught the Sacred Heart issue either. So don't feel bad;I think today's crop of WP:ERRORS was just a freak occurrence. RoySmith (talk) 21:27, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I guess you're right. This isn't even close to the first queue I filled, and those had no issues. SL93 (talk) 21:31, 21 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Neptune All Night

[edit]

On 1 April 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Neptune All Night, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that a 1989 science show featured an unusually long signal delay? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Neptune All Night. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Neptune All Night), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
