I think it is worth briefly adding a sentence on when Zimbabwe gained independence.
I would wikilink Summer Olympics separately, and link "first appearance" to the Zimbabwe at the 1980 Summer Olympics article. Also:
Note what city and country the 1980 games place in.
Wikilink and name Luke Steyn in full the first time he is mentioned in the body.

Overall: Drive-by nomination. The issue is that the hook is not particularly interesting, many tropical nations that do not snow have participated in the Winter Olympics. Also, the source does state that Zimbabwe had not had snowfall in 40 years... except it's the skier who said that, "I don't think there has been any recorded snowfall in Zimbabwe in something like the last 40 years," the 20-year-old skier said in a telephone interview., I would not consider this quote to be reliable. @B33net: jolielover♥talk 14:13, 13 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
