In this article, there is reference to a Captain James Blunt with a hyperlink. The hyperlink goes to the Wikipedia page for the singer/songwriter James Blunt which I believe is incorrect. 31.48.149.161 (talk) 18:16, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

World War 3 officially began on Nov 21, 2024 when Ukraine's former military Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny said that the direct involvement of Russia's autocratic allies in its war on Ukraine means that World War III has started. Zaluzhny is the Ukrainian envoy to the United Kindom, and made the statement during a speech at Ukrainska Pravda's UP100 award ceremony. 2605:B100:108:B669:0:20:4D72:E01 (talk) 20:50, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please change:
World War III (WWIII or WW3), also known as the Third World War, is a hypothetical future global conflict subsequent to World War I (1914–1918) and World War II (1939–1945). It is widely assumed that such a war would involve all of the great powers, like its predecessors, as well as the use of nuclear weapons or other weapons of mass destruction, surpassing all prior conflicts in geographic scope, devastation and loss of life.

There is no need to correct that. All the US presidents mentioned in this article are referred to as "president" since that was their position at the time. It might also interest you to know that Joe Biden is still president, since Donald Trump takes office on January 20. Sjö (talk) 09:41, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
is trump worth putting in the potential flashpoints? Regardless of your political standing, allies like Germany and France basically rejected any notion of potential military force to take over Greenland as inferred by Trump. I didn’t want to add without saying anything but I feel there should either be a section about it or a mention. The USA potentially losing/not being on best terms with key allies could provide an opening for Russia/China to go bezerk on us. IEditPolitics (talk) 21:37, 8 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
While Trump's approach to international affairs is unusual (I think I can say that without displaying bias), it's not our role to speculate on the impact of his words. There's already far too much speculation in this rather silly article. If other international leaders say something strong, we could include hat, but to connect it with WWIII would be going too far.
