Why are there no Ukrainian war crimes mentioned specificially in conscription?
[edit]https://www.rferl.org/a/ukraine-military-manpower-crisis-pressgang-recruitment/33161193.html https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/ukrainian-men-dragged-out-of-nightclubs-and-restaurants-army-press-gang-kyiv/ https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cz994d6vqe5o
It is well documented that the Ukrainian TCC drags off it's civilians to the frontlines / to military training. I find it very odd that this is not mentioned in the conscription section of this article. 2003:C3:3F15:D597:74A0:2AFB:6966:1911 (talk) 04:47, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
- It is not mentioned because it is in no way a war crime. But conscripting or enlisting on occupied territory, like Russia does in Ukraine, is prohibited by the Fourth Geneva Convention and specifically listed as a war crime in the Rome Statute. I would like to point out that if this was a war crime, we would be compelled to add that Russia does much the same. Sjö (talk) 06:51, 10 February 2025 (UTC)

Why does the section "Sexual Violence" omit statistics of Ukrainian crimes?
[edit]"The alleged perpetrators were from the ranks of Russian and pro-Russian separatist armed forces in 89 cases and from civilians or unidentified individuals in territory controlled by Russian armed forces in 2 cases." The source given says also: "from the ranks of Ukrainian armed forces, including territorial defence, in 9 cases and law enforcement in 1 case". This is omitted from the article. Why?
Regarding verified cases, the article says: "OHCHR reported that 11 cases, including rape and gang rape, were committed by Russian armed forces and law enforcement." The source given also says: "Five acts of CRSV were committed by Ukrainian armed forces, including territorial defence, or other law enforcement bodies." So out of 23 verified cases, 11 were committed by Russians and 5 by Ukrainians. But the latter is just not mentioned. Why? 31.45.44.189 (talk) 07:59, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
