Britanys1 edits very important

[edit]

Britanys1 comments on the relationship between the prison industrial complex and the military industrial complex (which Angela Davis describes as "symbiotic") are very important and add crucial nuance to the entry. I made grammatical changes and edits to the post but the substance is well summarized and well written. Genevievejoelle (talk) 14:21, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Immigration Industrial Complex in the United States

[edit]

Renamed section Immigration into Immigration Industrial Complex. In the US, there now has been a 20 year development at least, and the term is celebrating its sad 16th birthday this year; C.J. Griffin, maybe we should even break this section out into a new page? I added a sentence sourced by a recent WSJ article, which had a map of the 100 public and private detention center. Interestingly, the private centers are located in the West and South along teh Mexican boder, whereas the public centers are in the Midwest. Wuerzele (talk) 05:18, 2 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
