One of the greatest musicians in history

[edit]

Saying he’s one of the greatest of his generation doesn’t do him justice. He’s widely regarded one of the greatest musicians in history 82.42.70.100 (talk) 22:53, 9 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please provide a source that backs that claim. (CC) Tbhotch 01:26, 10 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
“The greatest recording artist of all time” and “Master of 27 instruments” need to be added. Thank you 82.42.70.100 (talk) 21:04, 12 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

After reading his Instagram profile, he might have bias toward the subject. This is an opinion piece being taken as a fact. (CC) Tbhotch 22:12, 12 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Prince “Children” Error

[edit]

“Alli Cazaam” is listed as his child on google. This is not princes child and there is no evidence to prove it is.. this is misleading please fix this error. 82.42.70.100 (talk) 16:18, 23 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

That name does not appear in this article. We have no control over Google results. EvergreenFir (talk) 17:29, 23 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Famous for playing 27 instruments

[edit]

You should add in the introductory paragraph that he’s famous for playing 27 instruments. And has 6 octave vocal range. Thank you so much 82.42.70.100 (talk) 22:59, 26 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

“His generation”

[edit]

Limiting Prince’s influence to “his generation” is WAY underselling him.

David Bowie’s page rightfully calls DB one of the greatest “of the 20th century”. Prince deserves the same recognition. Why minimize him to “his generation” - ignoring the many modern producers who were deeply influenced by Prince when crafting hits for the next few generations of stars, from Britney to Bruno Mars.

I strongly believe Prince is included among the greats of “the 20th century” or at least, “late 20th century”. Limiting him to just ONE generation is so wild. 2600:1702:4C78:19C0:F5AB:DF72:5847:2AC1 (talk) 02:09, 5 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
