FMSky's advocacy for O.U.R.
[edit]The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
I'd like to open a discussion about FMSky's more or less open advocacy while editing this article. Every single edit they have made has been to either delete negative information about the organization and/or its founder, or to re-word existing text in order to lessen the impact of sentences they consider negative. Thoughts? Fred Zepelin (talk) 18:47, 29 September 2023 (UTC)

Deseret News report confirming that O.U.R. investigated Ballard and he resigned at the end of that investigation

Renaming and rebranding of Operation Underground Railroad
[edit]A lot of the information on this page is out of date, post-OUR's rebranding.
For example, the name is "OUR Rescue" and they have a new logo.
the financial information from 2021 is also outdated and can be updated from their 2023 Form 990.
Also, the global HQ was moved from SLC, Utah to Minneapolis, MN. https://ourrescue.org/education/press-release/our-rescue-is-moving-global-headquarters-to-minneapolis ArhedisVarkenjaab (talk) 12:28, 19 February 2025 (UTC)

Operation Underground Railroad → Our Rescue – This organization has changed its name from Operation Underground Railroad to Our Rescue. The name change has been reported on. Since the change, this is now the commonly referred to name, as seen in most recent articles on the subject, including in ABC and local station reporting Tricia Little (talk) 16:27, 17 April 2025 (UTC) Tricia Little (talk) 16:27, 17 April 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. - Support per nom. I found several other news articles reporting on the org under the new name.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8] Note that most news sources refer to them as "Our Rescue" and not the org's preferred styling "OUR Rescue" so the proposed capitalization is appropriate.--MYCETEAE 🍄🟫—talk 18:36, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
- Our organization has standardized the capitalization across all uses and we officially go by "Our Rescue" now, rather than the all capital "OUR Rescue" so I agree that this is the appropriate change. Tricia Little (talk) 20:46, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
