Fair use rationale for Image:Lovethywillbedonealbum.jpg

[edit]

Image:Lovethywillbedonealbum.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:47, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Violinice

[edit]

This article says "Oppera" was the debut album of the band with same name. However, Martika article's discography has this: Violince (2004, as Oppera). The article says Oppera was found in 2003, and tells that Violinice was their debut. I think this should be changed. 85.217.21.90 (talk) 17:26, 14 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Peer review

[edit]

I've listed this article for peer review because I wish to nominate the article for featured article status and welcome feedback from other users before going ahead.

Thanks, Goodreg3 (talk) 18:26, 21 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: Good to see this here, though, uh... discographies tend to be nominated over at Featured Lists and not Featured Articles. In any case, any artist discography page should include a list of the artist's music videos somewhere if it's not spun off into its own article, especially since the infobox of this page notes that Martika has eight of them without any attribution. See some other featured discography articles for comparison: Dua Lipa discography, Crystal Castles discography, and Meghan Trainor discography, just to show a few. Hi, thank you for your feedback. I did mean to say featured list status, as opposed to feature article. I have taken on board your feedback and have added a music videos section. Are there any other suggestions? Thanks again, Goodreg3 (talk) 13:57, 23 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
My only other concerns are with the sourcing: I'm not sure if RockWired.com is a reliable source, and the Today interview should not be attributed to Mike Devery given that it looks like a re-published screen recording. As a whole though, I'd say it looks alright! Granted, however, I'm not too experienced with the actual ins-and-outs of discography articles, so take this opinion with a grain of salt; I'm sure that someone else with more experience will be able to give more specific advice later on :) Leafy46 (talk) 00:20, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
