On 18 March 2022, it was proposed that this article be moved from List of Hotstar original programming to List of Disney+ Hotstar original programming. The result of the discussion was moved.

Creating Movie programming page for Hostar

Hi, it is evident that Hotstar is moving towards releasing exclusive movies. I think it will be a good idea to separate Movies and Series programming pages. Just for time being I'm adding Movies section in this page only. Saichaitanya4496 (talk) 17:53, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Created a new Headline namely "Former exclusive television distribution".

I have created a new headline called "Former exclusive television distribution". That headline focuses on shows that previously streamed on the platform but not commissioned by Hotstar. I created it because I've checked the shows that related in the Disney+ Hotstar website and they're not in there.

Integrate "exclusive television distribution" into a new section named "Original programming"

I propose that the "exclusive television distribution" section will be integrated into a new section "Original programming" and rename that subsection into "exclusive international distribution" as some of the shows that initially released as Star Originals from Disney+/Star+ has come to Disney+ Hotstar as well and rebranded to Hotstar Originals.

Separate Disney Channel shows in SEA for a new section

Oppose: Based on the sources at the Disney+ Hotstar article, it appears the JioHotstar branding is primarily being used in India while "Hotstar" and "Disney+ Hotstar" are still being used internationally. We should wait to see if the Indian brand overtakes this one in the long term to become the common name, and any move would have to be taken up at Talk:Disney+ Hotstar first, as that is the parent article.
