I would add a sentence to the end of the lead about his post football career.
company rebranding as the Pioneer Distributing and Pioneer Liquid Company in 1946 --> "rebranded"
He lived nearly his entire life in Green Bay and he died there on August 21, 1970, after a short illness delete the second "he"
References are consistently formatted and appropriate for what is being cited
Ref 10 needs an access-date
