James' Original Perspex Model

Last year, it looks like James' perspex model that was used on Thomas & Friends from seasons 1 through season 9 was bought for preservation and is now owned by Twitter user ThomasTankMerch. The model was also restored by the two people who run the account. Would this type of information be notable enough to add to the article?

Just a note about the collection. Editors have been removing articles from this iconic topic for a few years now. Compare the navboxes, what it looked like in, picking a random date [picking a random date, July 2020. Too many red links, but look how many engines had articles. Several well-known engines among them. Then, one by one, gone (although listed on the character page) until only three remain on the present navbox: {{Thomas & Friends}}. The engine collection of Thomas & Friends has been pruned for years to the point of having to question "Why?". At least let's keep what we have now, and if new sources can help this page then maybe they can also help to return some of the deleted articles! The articles being removed might be due to the fact that there aren't many sources to use as citations. At least, not many secondary ones. I made a draft for a new version of Percy the Small Engine, not knowing it previously was an article, only to abandon it because I couldn't find enough sources. I'd be up for creating (or contributing to) new revisions of these past articles, but enough reliable sources to prove that they're noteworthy would be required first. SleepDeprivedGinger, there may be other revisions with other sources, that was just a random look. The complete record of the page is still intact in its history, so you may want to scrounge around in it (maybe early versions have other sources). (I'm the original IP tagged towards the top of this heading; my address changes periodically and I don't know how to stop that. Either way the ping didn't go through.) Ideally I would like the original Steam Team + maybe Duck the Great Western Engine and Donald and Douglas since they're relatively frequent side characters, but the issue is that a lot of the deletion verdicts are going to have to be overturned, and editors seem fussy when it comes to maintaining them. As an example, I tried to recreate Gordon the Big Engine, which I didn't think was controversial as he is one of the core characters of the show; but it was quickly reverted back into a redirect within something ridiculous like a minute, and I wasn't even able to improve the base article I composed.

Because of the excessive pruning mentioned earlier, most people interested in the franchise, like myself, are simply going straight to Fandom; where there is a much more detailed and streamlined series of articles than, frankly, I think could ever be possible on Wikipedia. This is probably best illustrated by the fact that WP:THOMAS (the WikiProject designed for the franchise) has seen little activity for quite some time.
