Founding date
[edit]The Imperial Legislative Council was the name given for the unicameral legislature which existed from 1909 to 1920. After this there was a bicameral legislature consisting of the Central Legislative Assembly and the Council of State. It might be incorrect to call these 2 bodies as the Imperial Legislative Council.

- I agree with you, after 1919 the Indian Legislative Council was dissolved and the Indian Legislature became the new legislature of British India under the provisions of the Government of India Act, 1919. This is also a very late reply, almost 12 years late.
