Source 1 to 7 and source 10 and 16 isn't reliable. The problem is that they seem to contain many information about this draft. Please provide reliable sources. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 11:42, 29 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think that the majority of the sources cited on the page are reliable. I know for a fact that sources 1 through 7 aren't all unreliable because I checked some of them on the perennial sources list and the WikiProject Video games source list. Di (they-them) (talk) 07:04, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Di (they-them): I've marked it as a reviewed because I do see significant coverage in RS. SafariScribe is right about unreliable sources, though. Source 3 (Substack) is user-generated content and thus unreliable but cited 5 times in the article. Source 8 (Sportskeeda) (WP:SPORTSKEEDA) and https://vocal.media/geeks/versus-sites-and-battle-boards is more user-generated content that should not be used. www.theouterhaven.net and www.pluggedin.com are not listed anywhere but look like blogs. https://www.gameindustry.com/news-industry-happenings/rooster-teeth-releases-new-death-battle-tabletop-card-and-dice-game/ is definitely a blog. Please take some time to replace these sources with better ones. Thanks. C F A 💬 15:02, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sources (continued)

[edit]

All future episodes must be sourced. Real-world releases are real-world events, and not fictional, therefore not including a source for a future episode violates WP:V and WP:CRYSTAL. When called upon, a source must be provided for anything that is disputed. -- Alex_21 TALK 03:10, 6 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that the release date of future episodes should be sourced (or left out), but I don't think the matchups of the episodes themselves need to be sourced since they are revealed at the end of each episode. The entire list is implied to be cited to the episodes themselves, which are primary sources. I think that this is the same logic as MOS:PLOTCITE, where a citation isn't necessary because readers understand that the primary source is the media itself. That would be WP:PRIMARYSOURCE, not WP:PLOTCITE. I accept that past episodes don't require a source, as the episodes act as sources for themselves. I'm glad to see the removal of the unsourced date; I'd be curious as to where it originally came from. -- Alex_21 TALK 20:16, 6 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
