Wendy Savino

[edit]

A few other sources have now picked up her story but they all rely on the New York Post. Best to leave her off until corroborated by the NYPD in a source which does not track back to the Post.   –Skywatcher68 (talk) 16:08, 9 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Legacy - Music

[edit]

There is a mention missing from the Legacy - Music part. Nas mentioned Berkowitz on track 9 called "Represent" of his Illmatic XX album, quote: "But if I hit rock bottom, then I'ma be the Son of Sam" 2001:4C4E:181C:FE00:AC07:713C:C602:FD34 (talk) 14:45, 3 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Misnaming the dog

[edit]

In the initial description, the dog’s name is given as “Sam,” but the article later correctly identifies that “Sam” was the name of Berkowitz’s neighbor who owned the dog. The dog’s name was Harvey. https://www.nytimes.com/1977/09/21/archives/notoriety-haunts-reallife-sam-reallife-sam-says-notoriety-is.html 2600:1700:B038:2EE0:C557:4390:7DE:E501 (talk) 14:57, 25 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
