The result of the move request was: Christian Peter Wilhelm Beuth moved to Peter Beuth. and Peter Beuth (Hesse politician) not moved. This is my third time closing an RM. If you disagree with my closure, please notify me. (closed by non-admin page mover) ―Howard • 🌽3313:14, 19 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
– Following a contested technical request (permalink), I am asking for consensus on the subjects' common names and if there is a primary topic for "Peter Beuth". The second question is why I have included the second article in this move request; I agree with the comments below that the (Hesse politician) is acceptable but wanted to notify readers of that article, in case they have another title in mind. This sort of PT change is rarely uncontroversial, however with the lack of other arguments, it does appear likely a historical figure would trump a modern politician under WP:PT2. That said, is this in fact the common name? The article is lacking in sources in its current state. ASUKITE14:49, 17 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
