Inappropriate image?

[edit]
The aircraft involved in the accident, while still operating for Pan Am

Is the second image a bad idea?

It shows the crash aircraft some years earlier whilst flying in the colours of a previous airline - in this case the very recognisable colours of Pan Am. Any reader glancing at this article will be confused by this second image, wondering if perhaps two aircraft were involved, or failing that, what is Pan Am's connection to the crash.

Need I say more? I will return here to read comments, and unless I hear a persuasive argument for retention, this second image will be removed.
